Monzonite Rock climbing 0 routes in crag

Often being confounded indeed monzonite is not granite and not even a granitoid. Despite only a few occurences worldwide, there definitely are some climbing routes. Thus per definition it's a climbrock.

As the systematics of climbrocks try to simplify wherever possible, Quartz Monzonite is not listed separately. So "Monzonite" here includes Quartz Monzonite, .Monzonite (in the narrow sense) and foid-bearing Monzonites, as displayed here: https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monzonit#/media/Datei%3AStreckeisen_Monzonite.jpg (In case you are interested, please refer to the linked Wiki-definitions in my table linked below.)

Anyhow, as far as I can see, all the climbing areas actually linked by me within Thecrag indeed are Quartz Monzonites (you will find the link clicking the Monzonite-Wiki-Link above as well). However, I suppose, locally you might find some small areas, where you climb or at least cross Monzonites in the narrow sense, too In case you want to be sure, do some petrochemical analytics. That's exactely the reason why climbers should have a scanning electron microscope within their rucksack every time
