Ascents in Gilwern

The move after the bulge seems to have a broken hold before the undercling. As the lines are so crammed together it's a bit difficult to know which holds belong to the route. Going left goes but seems like cheating. Going straight up is absolute nails, more like 7a/+ (rather than 6c+) and feels impossible for a short climber.

Super difficult 2 first bolts, sketchy, quite alright after that

Really enjoyable route, fav of the day, slightly overhanging, good jugs but pumpy. Mind the earthy last ledge. Got it on my 2nd go

Fun route.

Really hard onsight. Leavitating is a good description is what you need to do at the crux. Good secuence or 4-5 moves. A little bit harder for the grade

Warm up on trainers.

Rested several times trying direct (6c), then I did it again clean going right (6b).

The rope was there

We most agree this is a 6a. I rested because I was tired so not very objective but most of us rested and usually on sight 6a.
