Grade Route

This climb is located uphill from Schwing Salute (a newer moderate route is between these two routes) and under a large roof. The climb goes diagonally left after the 2nd bolt. It goes over the roof at a crack feature. A project variation goes right over an impossible looking section of the roof.

FA: Alan Nelson & Ken Trout, 1991

Juggy climbing through a quartzite layer leads to more technical face climbing and the crux.

FA: Alan Nelson & Ken Trout, 1992

The left variation of Soap on a Rope

The right variation of Convicted Felon

FA: Dave Montgomery & Lisa Stern, 2014

Easy but chossy climbing characterizes the first half of the route. The second half is quite fun with some interesting moves to get over the roof.

FA: Ken Trout, 1992
