Sat 1st Oct 2016 - Yosemite National Park
Yosemite Valley Yosemite Falls Lower Yosemite Falls Lower Ampitheater
5.8 (unkown grassy corner/crack) Trad Classic
Climbed up through the easy blocky section, cleaning placements as I went. Looked at the harder, thinner, section; wasn't sure feet were solid; would have needed to clean thin crack for hands & gear; decided to back off. Down-climbed cleaning my gear as I went.

5.11a The Dagger Mixed trad 35m, 2 Classic
I gave up in the chimney/stem section. I could probably have struggled up to the final mantel -- but not sure it was worth it to thrash through, and wasn't being fun.

5.8 Ranger Crack Trad 21m Classic
Takes great gear.

5.6 Ranger Corner Trad 15m Classic
Also takes great gear. A great little climb.

Fri 30th Sep 2016 - Yosemite National Park
Yosemite Valley Yosemite Falls Lower Yosemite Falls Five Open Books
5.6 Munginella Trad 110m Classic
Three excellent pitches of great 5.6 climbing.

I lead all three pitches.

Thu 29th Sep 2016 - Yosemite National Park
Yosemite Valley The Royal Arches The Royal Arches Center
5.7 A0 5.7 A0 Royal Arches Route Trad 430m Classic
Swung pitches with Nick. Did to the end of pitch 15, then rapped. 8.5 hours up (not hurrying), then 3.5 down (single 60m rappel, bit of trouble near the end). Mostly easy 5th class or 4th class. Exact pitch count/set may not match book or list above.

This climb is generally easy, route-finding is rarely difficult, and most of the rappel route is quite clear and easy -- only a bit tricky near the ledgy base.

Wed 28th Sep 2016 - Yosemite National Park
Yosemite Valley The Royal Arches Church Bowl
5.8 Bishop's Terrace Trad 55m Mega Classic
Lead P1 and about 1/2 of P2 -- up to just below the twin cracks. Oops.

Also, got the start wrong, so fought with a couple off-width bits before backing off, finding the right start, and actually having fun with it.

An excellent climb, good gear and good movement through-out. The only pity is that the section of perfect vertical hand-crack on P2 isn't longer than it is.

Tue 27th Sep 2016 - Yosemite National Park
Yosemite Valley Glacier Point Glacier Point Apron Center
5.4 The Goblet, Left Trad Average
Pro is a bit thin, especially the 2nd half.

5.9 (above the Goblet) Mixed trad 21m, 4 Good
Trying to get clean on TR - nope. But think I know the sequence where it gets hard now. Of course, it may be year(s) before I try again.

Tue 27th Sep 2016 - Yosemite National Park
Yosemite Valley Glacier Point Glacier Point Apron East
5.6 The Grack, Center Route Trad 120m Classic
Lead P2, Will lead P1 & P3. P2 is a lovely, lovely, hand-crack. I probably made it a longer-than-standard pitch, since I was having so much fun.

Tue 27th Sep 2016 - Yosemite National Park
Yosemite Valley Glacier Point Glacier Point Apron Center
5.8 Harry Daley Trad 70m Classic
Lead P1, followed P2. Didn't bother with P3 -- didn't know it even existed.

Great climb.

Mon 26th Sep 2016 - Yosemite National Park
Yosemite Valley Yosemite Falls Lower Yosemite Falls Lower Ampitheater
5.8 Ranger Crack Trad 21m Classic
So lovely I came back later to lead it.

5.10b Guiding Light Trad 24m Very Good
I found it harder than Lightweight Guides -- more sustained, fewer rests.

5.10b Lightweight Guides Trad 24m Very Good
Some hard work, and some interesting changes of balance and technique as the climb goes.

Need to remember to step left around the corner about where there is a largish flat spot on the arete.

Mon 26th Sep 2016 - Yosemite National Park
Yosemite Valley Yosemite Falls Lower Yosemite Falls Sunnyside Bench
5.9 Lemon Trad 15m Good
Burly.

5.10c Bummer Trad 50m
Could probably have struggled through, but others were waiting.

5.7 Jamcrack Route P1
1
Trad 53m Good
Start is a bit polished, but otherwise nice.

Yosemite Valley Three Brothers Eagle Creek Area Manure Pile Buttress
5.7 After Six (After Six P1)
1
Trad 180m
Surprisingly hard for a 5.7 because of all the polish. Was going to continue, but partner was too tired.

Fri 10th Oct 2014 - Yosemite National Park
Yosemite Valley Three Brothers Eagle Creek Area Manure Pile Buttress
5.8 Nutcracker Trad 180m Classic
Partner found a variant of the 5.9 variant start -- going up a thin crack/seam about 2m right of it for about 2/3 of the first pitch. I lead pitch 2 (5.6) and half of pitch 3 (5.7).

Trad 150m Classic
Great climbing, mostly at the 5.7 or below grade, with a couple 5.8 moves on pitch 4, and a short (maybe 15 ft) 5.9 section at the end of the final pitch.

Tue 7th Oct 2014 - Yosemite National Park
Yosemite Valley Yosemite Falls Lower Yosemite Falls Five Open Books
5.9 Commitment Trad 100m Classic
Hard 5.8 crack at the start, but otherwise not too bad. One noticeable, committing 5.9 move on pitch 3 passing the roof to the right just above the belay.

Top is extremely loose.
