Routes in New South Wales and ACT for selected grade

Descent gully starts at the obvious saddle on the far western end of the Wollumbin Shield/Western Peak of Mt. Warning. Mostly just an easy scramble. Heavily vegetated at times. Very short sections of vertical which can easily be scrambled down using trees or spear lillies. Seceteurs may be beneficial at times to cut away some bits of spikeyness.

Layaway to jugs and easy top out.

The short, left hand crack in the corner to cave. Down-climb to clean.

The short, right hand crack in the corner to cave. Down-climb to clean.

Used to escape ledge after toping out on other problems or done ground up.

Reverse moves to get down.

Slabby corner and left leading ramp, used as access.

Easy open book corner 30m right of Flack.

Twin chimneys at the head of the gully as access.

The gully 10m right of Grunge Gully.

Start in the chimney 10m right of Gut buster. (a possible access route). Climb the chimney to the ledge, then walk left where some easy moves lead to the top.

Access gully, climbing initially through the key-hole (beneath chockstone). Easy climbing but with consequence potential if unroped. 2 carrot bolts at the head of the gully on the north side serve as an anchor

No so easy when wet!

Easy ramble up just right of corner.

Climb from right to left onto the main ramp, finish on 2 anchor bolts

The scramble up the back of the pinnacle. Not sure why it has bolts, but could be good for kiddies or used to set up top rope.

Start 5m right of Trajectory.

Up staircase blocks to top.

Some people will do anything to see their name in print!

Start: The scrubby gully at the left hand end of the cliff, 3m left of ‘Hitman’.

Up twin cracks and mank.

A useful descent route for this part of the cliff.

Start: The chimney to the left of and behind ‘Ivory Stairs’.

Up chimney.

Start up slab on thin holds to crux with a shallow mono, jump for the top!

Start as for Central Waterfall Slab when you arrive at the first crux temporarily veer diagonally left up the ramp line.

First of the steeper gullies right end of Money, more of a scramble.

Slab immediately left of Groovy gully.

Start under Slab traversing left into the base of the larger Gully then hook back diagonally right to finish via Slab.

Start as for C and start making your way up the larger Gully veering left up the ramp.

Left of two gullies farthest left side of Hemisphere Boulder and all the way along the ridge to the other side.

Western slabby face of Cliff, traverse left to right.

Ramp left of tree.

Slab left of ramp.

Groove left again.

Scoop left of LPg4.

Slab immediately left of scoop.

Left again slab left of tree.

From the ground climb the short offwidth/gully.

Climb the left arete and wall of short slab right of gully.

Short wall between the aretes, with both aretes out.

Large flake from standing.

Left arete and face.

Centre of face.

Right arete and face.

Directly up the left arete of the hanging face.

Far left of Leopold! Arete, flake and crimps to ascend the slab, detached blocks out.

Climb the ramp from far right to left.

Left of the bloc from the ground standing up the face utilising the large juggy rail.

Chossy right side of bloc to nice summit.

Up the short chimney.

Start in crack lower left of Love Doll gaining and ascending the ridge via the slab, more of a scramble.

Tufa looking like slab left of Grommet.

Left of Flattie via diagonal crimprail.

Metre right of Flattie via jugs.

Left arete.

Up the gully and right.

Up the gully to exit via boulder on left.

Easy slab metre left of Bulgy Slab.

Stand start far left front face stepping up and moving right to ascend the slab.

Start right of seam/scoop moving right to mantle low angle slab.

Sit or stand start short corner Northern aspect.

Up the main gully.

Slab left of Aorta sans step.

Slab left of tree left of Vena Cava.

Main gully Western aspect.

Start right of the step via scoop.

Slab and step left side.

Follow the arete of Plate bloc.

Trackside Eastern facing short slab off top of Fu bloc.

Exiting right.

Right of capstone.

Right of Descent.

Right of Slab.

More of a short scramble and easy descent up the scoop system on the Northern aspect.

Right of Right Wall and the flat shelf ascend via the flake trending left up the slab.

Start as for Flake Slab but climb up direct via the flake.

Direct up and over Mattexrhot! NW Ridge.

Gain the centre of the low South facing slab from standing.

Centre of the North facing slab of Upper Boulder.

Left side of Northen aspect Upper Boulder.

West ridge.

North wall.

Climb up the easy slab crack Northern flank.

Eastern aspect climb the corner exiting left.

Centre of the Western aspect.

Offwidth starting from the left.

Right side of bloc/arete.

Rocky gully and crack left of Path Finder.

Centre of slab via crimps.

Up slab immediately right of detached shelf.
