Ascents of Mardi Gras

More than a year since I last climbed it and its still great.

What a route! Super fun

Excellent route. 1st try, hang-dogged my way up with 3 takes.

Finally! Second try and I redpointed on the exam.

Tried on lead, got a reasonable way!

And again. Did crux, failed at roof.

Getting better; beta's starting to come around;

Starting to work out the crux traverse and roof beta.

A great technical 11a.

Fun crux Sequence

Got a bit crossed up through the balancy section then ended up cutting loose like a goose going for the jug. Terrible form but made it through haha.

After 3 days in bed with the flu dave gets on this as our warm up. Felt a bit harder than 10b

awesome climb. one super balancy moment way above the draw..... looking at the next draw just above you. much nicer with gear on it! freezing cold and wet day.
