Man kann vom Friedhof aus der Straße Altenstein grob in Richtung Nordosten folgen. Nach etwa 400 Metern erreicht man den Waldrand. Dort hinter einem recht massiven Baum rechts vorbei gehen und man steht schon fast vor dem Felsen. Die Routen sind weiß am Stein angeschrieben.
