Multipitch sport climbing above Lake Antacocha
Description
A large limestone buttress offering several bolted multipitch routes. Some routes are missing equipment as of May 2018.
Access issues
Tolerated
35km south of Huaraz in the Cordillera Negra. At the time of writing, there was a bridge out in the town of Recuay. Take a small dirt road just before the replacement bridge and drive past the cemetary. Follow the road 7km to Lake Antacocha.
Where to stay
There is a designated campsite next to the lake.
