Description

Great roadside bouldering (and a little top-roping) on soft, though well featured sandstone. Being at around 3000' ASL, this crag also offers cooler temps and incredible views down to the coast.

This is a great place to bring kids - the maze of rock formations is great fun to explore.

Oh and the nearby Cold Springs Tavern is awesome for post-climb beers.

Approach

Park well off the road near the obvious "Lizard's Mouth" trail sign, then wander west through the maze of rock formations. There are numerous boulders here of many shapes and sizes, and while most only have a handful of problems, the number and density of the boulders more than makes up for having to relocate every few problems.
