This is a climb that rewards hauling on fragile ironstone flakes. Add a grade if you limit yourself to holds that won't break. Milked the rests at the ledges. Crux for me was the pocketed face; went with Luke's beta of getting LH to the highest pocket then throwing for the rail.

Was told I can't not do the top pitch - so we did the top pitch (simul straight after West Face). Tips the 1000 meter day towards the 1100m mark, especially with HC top pitch thrown in.

Maybe it was the fatigue after 360m of climbing, maybe it was the heavy pack and snagged rope I was tagging, maybe it was well past sunset and i couldnt see the holds but I found this pretty hard

One of the better routes I've climbed in the mountains. Soft at 21 but beautifully continuously 19ish for a long, dead vertical pitch in an airy position.

Probably the best grade 21 I ever did, sensational. My type of route — crimpy and almost perfectly vertical. It's sustained cause it goes on forever, so you must know how to rest on crimps. But the wall is beautiful, the exposure sensational. And hell it was windy! Best 21 ever for me, enough said!!

A properly good pitch! Pretty sustained with one cruxy bit at the top with some mega exposure! Would be 4 stars if the rock was not all a bit chossy!

Great way to add an extra pitch.. felt easy and relaxed going up although its a long route and did get a little bit of pump at top..fantastic wall full of good hand and feet holds. Crux was near the top where there is a 2/3 finger pocket that i put a high toe in to to push past crux.

Excellent lead by Roman at the end of the day. Just ran up it! A couple of long reaches and one tricky move using a small pocket for the right hand - otherwise mostly straightforward on good holds. The difficulty comes from the sustained steepness and the length of the pitch.

What a route, absolutely amazing. What a way to finish the day. Linked it with the West Face. Luke C led the pitch. Only when I seconded I got to appreciate the full extent of the effort, coz the run outs are real. Good holds all the way up. Very sustained and pumpy. The crux up top is dreamy (gotta to love those finger pockets). We walked out from the top. Just keep walking to the left for a good 15 mins. Don't try going down the first gully (60 - 70m to the left), walk about another 150m along the cliff line, to a obvious easy rocky section down. Its marked with a cairn, I put another one up to make it very obvious. This track intersects at the start of the Lunch Ledge. Abseiling down might result in loss of rope. Walk out is nice and easy.

Best climb i have done so far. Got all the way to the last clip and took a whip. Rested. Then finished it off. Keen to have another crack to get it clean. I was so amazed by the exposure and the mental challenge of some of the run outs. 10/10. It wasn't that windy and we still managed to get the rope semi stuck pulling it through after the rap back down from the top. Wouldn't recommend doing this on very windy days.

There was a bit of a queue for the rap down to the base so we just did the top pitch. Awesome climbing! Crazy long and run out, on small edges, with big exposure. The wind desinitely added to the epicness. Would recommend.
