Description

Small boulder with a few stellar lines from V3-10 and potential for many more to come.

Access issues

We are climbing on Darkinjung land. Take your rubbish with you and treat the land with respect.

As the entrance to the approach is in close proximity to the driveway of number 32 enter discretely and keep music and noise to a minimum. Do not obstruct the driveways.

Approach

2 minutes walk. Parking at or near the top of Sunnyside avenue follow the faint track up to a small chossy overhang visible from the road, head right hugging the base of the cliff line for about 200m and you will arrive at the boulder.

V4 Long Bow Boulder 6m

Start around the corner from Falarica on carck and undercling, follow the crack up and around as it trends left ultimately joining the end of Pilum.

V10 ★★★ Falarica Boulder 5m

Sit start on heinous left hand pinch and right hand under cling or slopey side pull. Move up to slopey mono pocket intermediate before slapping to start of Pilum and finishing up the same way.

Stand start to Falarica from the first good sloper move directly up and top out.

Variant of Bec De Corbin exiting right into Pilum at the big lip flake.

V8 ★★★ Bec De Corbin Boulder 4m

The first line developed here. Sit start matched on the block feature in the back of the cave reaching back into the loose looking flake moving up to gain a series of right facing side pulls then moving up and left topping out.

Same matched start as Bec De Corbin but instead of moving right from the flake, move left and up to mantel just to the right of Ōdachi.

V8 ★ Nagamaki Boulder

Start for 'Halberd' and continue up and left to the three rightward facing pinches. Without moving left to the slot at the mantle of 'Halberd', climb directly up using a rightward facing crimp. Top out to the right, as per 'Bec de Corbin'.

Start as for Bec De Corbin and move left staying low on the flakes before joining the start of Kukri, up the flake then right along the lip into the top of Bec De Corbin.

Starting matched of large side pull make a few moves directly upwards before mantelling and topping out

Low start on far left hand side of the boulder before the tree. Move up and right after gaining the matchbox shaped pinch mantelling and topping out.

Start as for Odachi but at the lip traverse all the way right into the top of Bec De Corbin.
