Valshamar Mostly Sport climbing 26 routes in crag

From Reykjavik, drive north on the ring road 1. Before the toll tunnel under Hvalfjord, turn right onto 47, then right onto 460. About 2/3 of the way round turn right at sign to Valshamar summerhouses. Cross the river and park near the dumping area before the private gate. Grab a clip stick here. To the east the larger crag sticking out of the hill is it. Take the rough horse road to the left below the houses, through some electric fences, and going around the summer houses, over a style and up to the crag.
