Bolt to bolt acquainting myself with the top, really like it!

Tried the intended version of it (28).

Working on the direct finish.

Executed some bits rather poorly. Felt good to get to the chains again though. Another burn closer to the send.

First burn was pretty bad. Made it to the WOC chains but only just thanks to the cut loose at the kneebar. Took a rest after the first COD clip, still struggling to fight the pump there. Did the rest in one go again.

I can tell I haven't been on this for a couple of weeks. Grateful to hit the chains of WoC clean (thanks Anthony Lidbetter and KrystleJWright for cleaning/drying some key holds), but was still pretty pumped after clipping the first of CoD. I felt really good when doing the knee-bar swap, but for some reason after a few seconds I felt like I was sliding out of it. Ended up resting on the rope for a bit, then did the rest to the chains in a single shot again. Pretty confident in the beta now too. Stoked to be outside, stoked to be hanging with the crew again, stoked to be back on the rock. More sessions, more endurance, and this one will go! I hope.

Managed this in one sit. Wasn't a high point but I learned a couple of things that I think will help get this one done. The knee bar swap wasn't as tidy as it should have been.

Figured out my knee bar swap sequence at the WoC chains finally. Still a pump fest to the chains but I'm getting closer.

Spent some time on this reworking the beta through a couple of sections and rearranging the draws a bit.

Still feels like I've got a bit to go on this. I'm still feeling rather pumped when I get to the crux above WOC's anchors.

Finally clipped the chains of this sucker on my second try of the day. Was a fight, and I had to rest a few times along the way. But it was great to get up there and feel the exposure. The last few moves are really good fun and make you feel alive. Good to see all the moves are doable, and the holds are a nice collection of jugs. It looks like it's all going to come down to managing the pump and clipping efficiently. SUPER fun climbing.

Bit confused by the bolts on the left and the big chalky jugs to the right. Didnt bring enough draws with me anyway...

Weirdly contrived to stay on the arete.

Finally figured out a sequence for the end and got through to anchor for first time... think this will come together pretty soon now.

Going through and re-learning beta

Fell moving to the arete on COD. Couldn't get back enough from the kneebar where weapon splits off and pumped out on jugs. Surprised I made it this far. High point. Went to anchors and figured out last few moves dogging along the way.

Good progress, Figured out some more moves.

First time getting on this line for a while. Forgot a bunch of beta on Weapon of Choice so needed to relearn and dog quite a bit. Went to anchor of CoD, super fun arete and cruxy traverse. Feels pumpy

Quite spoogy today; but very good conditions in late afternoon. Too bad I had my two initial proper attempts in the beginning and decided to do some more route cleaning and re-gearing later on. Had my softest catch yet; flying from the very top of the 27 all the way bellow the first clip (Habitually skipping the two crappy [now good] draws on the way across). New draws, slings and quicklinks, all round; everything old has been re-lubricated and protected. That second to last bolt is going to blow though

I've put my money where my mouth is and equiped some of the route with new top of the line 35Kn SS wiregate Permas. You will find a new second and the second to last gate on WC that would not shut has been replaced. With the latter, unfortunately I left my hex tool at home and couldn't properly 'perma' it into the express - still fine, but don't steal it please (if the weekend crew would like to go up and change this please do). I've re-arranged some gates so that they would get more milage. I've tried to replace the rusting quick links of the CD draws but they were so rusty I couldn't do it. I'll go up with WD40 a wrench and pliers next week and see what I can do. As an interim solution I have left some more of my permas alongside the old ones. Please use them. The second to last bolt on CD has a new perma but that bolt needs to be replaced. STILL CAUTION - Unfortunately the anchor chain is in really bad condition and the chain needs replacing. It and the second to last hanger can pull out [read - disintegrate] any day now. Raining today, strong winds. Felt strong and climbed well; all foot and hand holds were an ice-rink and soaked at the top. Still made it to chains with 28 section all in one go. Will be sent.

x2.0[ish] First up, why is this route two stars? Three is the absolute minimum. Was encouraged by my first attempt to the point where I was in send mode on my second run, it didn't go well so I went up again but then the wind completely died down and temperatures increased to Venus levels. I swam my way up nonetheless, barely made it to the second to last bolt to retrieve Umby's draw (who sent it today!!!) - This is extremely doable at the grade

HUGE CAUTION ON THE CONDITION OF SOME BOLTS, PERMADRAWS AND HANGARS (weapon of choice is fine). Some serious oxidation and wear on many, especially at the very top. I will be donating a couple of my draws for the cause, and will purchase a couple of perma plates as well... Just be careful folks

went up to check it out at the end of the day. Really great position, nice rock/moves/etc, and exciting. Perhaps ill pursue it. well see.

Cleaning the draws for Tom. The doggiest dog I've ever done. Fell off before the first draw, and pulled on every draw except one. End of the day tragedy.

Havent climbed for a weak, not the best roof to have a go of. Just bolt to bolt again

i think this will probaly be not to hard. Moves alone are only 24

cool extention. Fairly simple moves, just an indurance problem
