Ascents of perimenontas to giani by jim bean

Not a fan of naming first ascents that others bolted and left unnamed. But in this case this was a forgotten project with a story and since its such a beautiful natural line deserves a name. The name tells a lot about the story behind this project.

New highpoint did the first crux and slipped at the hardest move of the second one, 3 moves before the jug. Amazing power endurance route solid 7c. First part 6c/+ to a no-hands rest to a 6B+ boulder prob to a bad rest to a 6C+ boulder prob to a jug and a 6A/+ boulder prob to get to the anchor ledge. Nextime.

Saw and did the last wall climbing part. I was wrong this is the hardest crux of the route sloppy crimps bad feet and long moves. So 2 hard cruxes(6B+/C,6C+ font) back to back with a bad rest between and an endurancy beginning. In my book this is an power endurancy 7c. But will be sure after i send it. For now one thing is certain its a mega classic.

Lost it after the first part of the redpoint crux. After that did the redpoint crux now remains the last wall climbing part, that i need to clean and figure out. Endurancy so maybe 7b+, will see after the last part.

Very hot today, decided to hop on this one. Did the first crux and the second one(apart the last move that needs cleaning), didnt have time to see the third one. Till there its a 7a+/b u get to a rest-ledge and after that u have another crux on sloppy crimps. If i have to guess without having seen the third crux i would say 7b/+. Very beautiful though.

Did the first part and managed to find a way for the first crux .

Cleaned and did all the moves of the first part,till there (7bolt) 7a+ with beatyfull moves . Traverse on holes with no feet and then small crack with bad feet . After that a smal crux on small crimps that leeds to a rest . After the rest the second part begins wall climbing with positive crimps with crux for sure. So nice procedure cleaning and climbing for the first time a route.

Decided to try this one , very dirty i think it has never been cleaned . Saw some moves and cleaned the first part. Hard wall climbing but seems very beatyfull.
