Ascents of Sardonique

Too hard for me. Couldn't work out the sequence through the crux

Good route with a boulder in the middle. Hard to read in the Onsight shot. NOT 8b or even 8a+!

Robbie put the draws on so I could try for a redpoint straight up. Skipped two clips, fell on the traverse (highpoint), 10m fall. Skin destroyed.

Went up to clean the draws and somehow kept going despite screaming skin. My gaston power somehow compensated for my piss-poor finger strength. I battled my arse off for this. My best tick of the year? [6]

Fell going to the tennis-ball pocket.

Fell on the opening of the crux.

Putting the gear up, re-working things.

Got off route, then crux smashed me. Did all moves to top.
