Ascents of No more heroes

Didn’t have a good time on this today. Not sure if I’ve changed or the climb has since last time I did it. The large block down low that you want to stand on is very unsettling and vibrates/bounces with obvious detachment on a couple of sides. Can’t remember if this is new. Crag was crowded today so didn’t want to try too hard to remove it. Whatever the case, I struggled to pull the moves above this as well which I thought were ok last time.

Lots of complaining from the rope monkey about some lichen and moss in the top half. I of course rather than complain took action (and a brush) and gave it a polish. Unsurprisingly the (by that stage) belay monkey then complained about dirt and grit falling into his eyes. At some stage he will toughen up.

Great crux / start sequence let down by the grubby headwall that has never really found its vogue with traffic due to no real clear line, luckily my belayer bought a brush and started the scrub gonna be a while

Ripper climb. Fun moves on nice holds.

Pretty cool.

Got too pumped trying to find a good hand hold near the top after the ledge, so had one small rest.

seems harder than 19 through the bulge unless you go right but the bolt placement suggests it goes direct

Quick warmup, fairly disappointed at the lack of cleaning considering the rest of the routes on this wall, has potential if given some more love, juggy climbing.
