7b+ Cady Cane (Candy Cane) Sport 27m, 12 Classic
What a route to finish on.. I walked pass this route on the way home everyday and I was trying to figure out the perfect time for an attempted, last route of the trip seemed about right. Wicked slab steeping to a hard pocket sequence then tech tiny crimping head wall. All split by good rest jugs. Oh and a full size owl!!!!

Trebenna West Right
7c Yin Yang Sport 30m, 14 Classic
Yep I was back but with a much worse result. Just too long, too hot and too tired. A route to come back for.

7a Fight the Butcher (Flight The Butcher) Sport 30m, 12 Very Good
The full line this time, the hard moves are off the 6b belay then its fun but runout flake and crack climbing.

Trebenna West Middle
6c 6c+ Into the Wild P1 (New 6c) Sport 20m, 8 Good
An interesting new addition to the pillars. A few ledges but the top boulder problem is really fun to figure out. Could be 6c+ if you don't figure the trick.

5c+ Oh La La Sport 20m, 9 Very Good
A nice little ramble, after the first couple of bolts you climb up a pleasant slab arête.

I can't really remember this one but I am sure it wasn't bad.

7a Terazi Lastik Jimnastik Sport 25m, 9 Classic
Sweet route that should see my traffic even if you have to lower off a single bolt. I really had to work for it at the end of the day.

6b+ Aquaplan Sport 26m Very Good
Draws were up and it was on my list so I went for a lash. Cool route with lots if rests but a reachy crux. Perhaps hard for the grade.

7a+ 6b+ Lycian Alpinist Sport 35m, 14 Good
Really fun long wall, only a short crux that isn't that hard so go for it onsight.

7b Greek Gift Sport 27m Classic
Dang it. Failed at the anchor twice, the first time I missed a hold and the second I was just two tired. Wicked roof climbing.

7b Lycian Highway Sport 35m, 15 Very Good
I finally got a chance to try this one and it didn't quite meet my expectations. The first pitch is Stella but the top has so many options it hard to climb the true line. I think I cheated myself out right.

Sat 13th Apr 2013 - Geyikbayırı
Trebenna West Left
7a Eneco's Last Dance Sport 18m Very Good
A high punch factor on this route, you keep expecting a rest spot then it's over. Nearly blew it on the slopper.

Trebenna West Middle
6b 6c+ Waiting for Holidays Sport 28m, 16 Very Good
It's a pity the first pitch is so sharp because the second pitch is one of the best 6a+ routes on the wall. Cool arête climbing.

6a+ Choreographie Violente Sport 20m, 8 Good
Umm can't really remember this one, I am sure it's good.

6c Unknown Sport Good
New route, not sure of the name. Needs more traffic to clean up and the top moves are quite gripping and not that much fun.

7c+ Parallel Universe Sport 33m, 11 Classic
A bit of a play to Suss the moves and see if it was doable... Answer is yes and no, did all the moves first shot but it would be very hard to link and very pumpy. Super climb with some wicked good moves and sequences but most people climb the top crux via a jug 2m's off line and avoid the hard moves. Doesn't seem a fair tick.

7a Brazilia Carnaval Sport 32m, 14 Very Good
Good long jug climb on massive pebbles. Well enjoyable.

6b+ Halva Sport 17m, 10 Good
Not as super classic as everybody makes it out to be but some fun moves.

6a+ No Gearrr Sport 15m, 6 Good
Nice easy juggy warm up

6c Caf Caf Sport 15m, 6 Very Good
I feel tired now. Sustained bridging and pull on small holds up a wide groove. Save some gas for the last move.

6b 6b+ Bizon Sport 16m, 7 Classic
Mega tufa fins, you can find rests galore. Super.

7a+ Poker Face Sport 22m, 9 Classic
Wicked polished white wall climbing with a conglomerate finish. It has prema-draws so a lap was in order and I really enjoyed it.

6c Drill Instructor (Drill Instuctor) Sport 26m, 7 Classic
Classic slab route that made me feel very at home, it would be a three star climb at shipply.

6c Retsa Sport 16m, 5 Good
Steep tufa pulling with a fun leg switch to an adjoining tufa. We had to leave because the Russians turned up in force and its only a little cave.

6a+ 6c Working Class Sport 10m, 9 Average
There is many better climbs then this one.

7a Zapfenstreich Sport 24m, 11 Very Good
Climbed this morning but forgotten about..? Steep tufa box roof then easier head wall. Cool line.

Alabalık Balkon
6b+ 6c Stalaktosaurus (Stalaktosaurus First Pitch) Sport 18m, 6 Very Good
Would be classic but for some sharp holds before the mega stalactite. Once you bridging between the wall and the free hanging mega feature its brilliant.

7b+ River Dance Sport 27m, 8 Mega Classic
What can I say.... Hardest, best and most memorable 7b+ so far! Fell low down on the OS when I got off line, was thinking about stripping it as it felt above me. Fell on the crux second shot, fine tunned the crux and worked the moves. Third shot like a dream. I am finally starting to enjoy redpointing.

6b L'Homme a l'Envers Sport 12m, 6 Average
Cool start but that's about all that is going for this route.

6c Kelebeğin Rüyasi (Kelebegin Ruyasi) Sport 24m, 11 Good
A long traverse through a black cave drippy in all types of holds, back climbed to clean. Great start boulder problem.

6c+ Chili con Pillar Sport 29m, 9 Very Good
Jugs the whole way getting steeper the higher you go till a great leg swing 30m's up.

6b 24 M Chrono Sport 26m, 11 Very Good
Wicked long ramble up a steep juggy wall of massive chockstones and pebbles all cemented together in the limestone matrix that is alabalik. 25m's of fun.

7a Hortum Sport 21m, 8 Very Good
Stella tufa fin route but loses points for an awkward crux. This line looks better then it climbs but is worth the effort.

6c+ Siri Birthday Project Sport 23m, 10 Very Good
Gee one of the harder 6c+ routes in the area, cranky pockets and small precise holds make this fun value at the grade and very enjoyable climbing. Sharp yes but that's what keeps you on the holds.

6b Nirvana Sport 18m, 7 Good
Good but super polished. Quite steep and pumpy for 6b and good swinging fun.

6c+ In Ordan Sport 18m, 7 Classic
End of the day burn, it took me 3 attempts to clip the anchor. Sweet slab start and some tricky, reachy tufa moves up top.

6a Muhtar Sport 15m, 7 Good
A nice easy one with heaps of fun pockets.

7a Ağustos Böceği (Agustos Bocegi) Sport 18m, 7 Classic
This felt a little easier then Karinca but still pumpy. It has a little traverse which could spit you if your not working it.

7a Karinca Sport 20m, 9 Classic
One of the most popular 7a at the Gaybar. Good long tufa and blob climbing with a great OmG jug when you really need it. Fun.

7b+ Sabotaj Sport 18m, 8 Very Good
Another onsight fail!! This one played with my head a bit, there is a scary ledge fall potential up the crux. I got it 3rd shot when I switched the ledge draw to a single binder and skipped the mid crux clip.

6b+ 7a+ Red Attack Sport 12m, 5 Good
A bit of a bullsh*t start up a wide and hold less tufa, good climbing after.

6b Uçan Teneke (Ucan Teneke) Sport 11m, 6 Classic
A little short but funky jugs and tufa corner.

6+ 6b Crying Girl Sport 10m, 5 Average
A bit weird bolting and not that flash.

6a Crying Boy Sport 10m, 5 Good
Warm up slab with a cool blob pocket.

5c+ 7a+ Flower Tower (Flower Tower First Pitch) Sport 32m Very Good
Another sand bagged easy route, cool long route climbing up this narrow pillar. Unlike anything thing else I have climbed.

Trebenna West Right
6b 6b+ Fight The Butcher P1 (Fight The Butcher First Pitch) Sport 17m, 6 Very Good
Hard arête climbing if you stick to the arête. This felt 6c at least or I was doing it wrong.

Trebenna West Middle
7a Bizim Canımız Yanmaz Gardaş (Bizim Canimiz Yanmaz Gardas) Sport 26m, 13 Good
Gee wiz this was heavy hard climbing! This route is a little bit of a hidden gem perhaps avoid because of it sand bagged grade. Toby got most of the way up till shut down by a wet tufa and it was my turn to clean. The top steep move were some of the hardest I pulled all day complete with a mega leg stemming section. Hard.

7a 8a+ Freedom Is a Battle (Freedom Is A Battle First Pitch) Sport 37m, 14 Very Good
I got my tufa humping down proper on the top of this one. Not hard but with some many holds to choose from you get a bit pumped.

Mon 8th Apr 2013 - Geyikbayırı
Trebenna West Right
7c Yin Yang Sport 30m, 14 Classic
Dang!! This was top of my 'Want to Onsight' list cause I heard it was soft. Fell inches from the victory jug because of poor commitment. Tech slab start to a sit down ledge then knee bar and jugs throught the steep stuf. I will be back...

7b Diplomarbeit Sport 26m, 9 Very Good
Cool One of the locals had his draws up so I gave it a lash. Mainly jugs until the last 3 bolts where you have to commit to some slappy moves and smear feet.

Mon 8th Apr 2013 - Geyikbayırı
Trebenna West Middle
7a Triologie Sport 30m, 18 Good
A nice long one to top out the cliff. The hardest moves are on the 6b+ section but still a little desperate at the top.

Trebenna West Right
6c+ Trebenna P1 (Trebenna First Pitch) Sport 26m, 10 Very Good
Great climb with two small roofs to conquer. Made harder and much slabbier by being a body's width to far left at the crux.

6b+ Turkish Standard Sport 21m, 8 Good
If this is the Turkish standard then we are all in trouble. The climbing was good but it wandered around a lot and the bolting was in strange places and of poor quality.

7a Sun Express Sport 28m, 11 Classic
Wow this was something different and really good. Long wall climbing with a lot of position dependent holds and thin moves. It's a pity it sharp in places. 5 routes before breakfast 8th day on nice.

6c+ Mission to Mars P1 (Mission To Mars First Pitch) Sport 23m, 9 Very Good
Pretty soft if you can jug steep. Good climbing with a mix of many styles. Take a ticket.

6c Easy Day Sport 27m, 11 Good
Cool wall slabing with a steep juggy start and some sharp holds. Not as hard as some other 6c's around these parts.

6a+ Pathfinder P1 (Pathfinder First Pitch) Sport 22m, 8 Good
More slabby then it looks also with less holds, I found it a little harder then I was expecting.

Sat 6th Apr 2013 - Geyikbayırı
Left Cave
6c Samanyolu Sport 30m, 12 Very Good
Really good quality face climbing on under cuts and smears.

7b+ Black Moon Sport 30m, 11 Classic
Mmm wanted to try and onsight this but turned out to be an extended dog session I will be back on it before I leave but it has a very short send window in the arvo, after 6pm when it goes into the shade and is a popular route.

6c+ Rocket Man Sport 30m, 14 Very Good
Never to hard never to easy just right.. Great rock and pockets.

6b Luna Park Sport 22m, 8 Good
Polished!!! The most polished route I have ever climbed. I swear there is a little Italian man up here every night giving it the good old spit shine.

7b Toxic Gravity Sport 26m, 8 Very Good
Cool route but bit of a two move wonder. Committing to the mono it the key but not the answer. Second shot.

7a Camelita Sport 24m, 6 Very Good
I thought the tufa would be the hard part, sustained edges and pockets in the top half.

6b Hadì Git Sport 30m, 11 Good
The route I meant to climb.. Good climbing with a couple of interesting moves down low and a hard to place last draw.

6a+ California Dreaming Sport 24m, 9 Good
Cruise warm up to one hardish bulge move. Conglomerate climbing..

5c+ 6a Alex Köhler Memorial (Alex Kohler Menotial) Sport 20m, 8 Good
I thought this felt hard for a 6b then I discovered it is 5c+... Really hard for one move then easy.
