Route reminds me of Gäsi climbing =)

What a route!!! Happy to finally onsight a 7c which is considered as hard....makes me feel a bit better about all the softies I ticked ;-)

Massive endurance Line, with a crux section half way up. 36min for the 40m, not a speed ascent but what can you do when there are about 30 kneebars ;-). Sooo much fun. Clipping the anchor was a massive fight.

A but soft but very nice climbing.

This must be soft? However with 80km winds I had to fight like hell to not get blown off the techical sections.

What an adventure. 55m of tufa madness, though didn't feel like a tufa climb at all, more like a chimney/offwidth climb. I think in the entire 55 m there is not a single downwards facing hold

Climbing is great but a bit crumbly in parts

More technical than hard.

Got stuck in the Uber technical crux for, what felt like, solid 10min... eventually figured out a way out of it. This pretty much wrecked me for the juggy but pumpy part and made this section quite interesting as well. The upper crimp endurance section is a beauty, but also quite challenging with no chalk on it / no indication which holds to go for.

All in all a fantastic route. For me the best of the sector.

Proper zero chalk onsight. Very cool climb with a fun finale to the anchor.

The King of the Bongo

Bloody awesome gritty arete. Had a look coming down from the route next to it, but didn't pull on any holds. Sequence went very different to what I thought it would. somehow held it together though, elvising my way up. super route.

With a bit of technique you can basically rest up the first 3/4 of the route. Last five pumpy meters are unfortunately a bit contrived. I do understand what they want you to do but the line kinda pulls you to the left (and I did the Ivo-variant). Not sure if the other line would be much harder (as you only miss two moves going right); This way it's soft for 7c. Would be classic if not for the contrived finish.

Checked it out the other day and sent today as a warm up while putting up the draws ....sooo, probably soft but also totally my style.

Done with the direct start. Basically classic climb but a bit contrived in parts.

Probably soft, but didn't feel like it on a 33degree day ;-)

Awesome climb! Low funky Crux followed by a technical head wall. Gotta be the best climb at the watchtower!

Not the day to do try to overcome the diva with very high humidity; she was true to her name.

The crossover / fall into the right hand sidepull is such an outrageous and unlikely move...Super cool when it comes together.

Not physically hard, but good body tension is key.

Another great Gäsi line! Boulder crux section down low and then mind bending Gäsi-shenanigans to the top; Love it.

Def. not 7c+, prob. even soft for 7c?!

A fun journey this one.

Rapped over it last year to clean it thinking it was Dschungelpfad. Now it turned out, the SAC Glanerland guidebook has this one and its neighbor confused, and this was the old project (I guess now, in hindsight, it makes sense why the grade was no-where near the suggested 7a 😉)

Removed the trees, cleaned the route, and added the missing bolt and anchor. It’s actually really nice to climb.

A bit of a puzzling crux down low (at least for me) where you do about 6 moves without gaining any height (but might be easier/ different if you can reach a bit higher from the ramp). Middle part is fun climbing and then another tricky section around the last bolt, with the typical Gäsi Shenanigans.

Grade needs confirmation.

A victory for the small ones =). Maybe a tad hard for the grade, but a classic line either way.

Nice technical line... should have been an onsight. Ended up going straight up on small crimps instead of making the big move to the hole on the right.

Fun Route with a boulder start which can be solved in different ways.

Apparently you can also easily fall off the head wall if you mess it up

I very much prefer the David upper section Over the Goliath start.

Messed up the reachy section before the break and accidently cut loose on the crimps in the crux, but still somehow managed to hold on and sent it...

In Thailand conditions with 95% humidity..

Climbed the first pitch almost like Bläcky, not sure how you are supposed to go further left through the crumbly stuff...this is either super contrived or super soft.

Finally! After slipping out of the undercling countless time I finally managed to stick the move in sequence...Still feels hard for me.

Try hard!
