Ascents by Ben Jenga having Distinct route

I got my tufa humping down proper on the top of this one. Not hard but with some many holds to choose from you get a bit pumped.

The best route of the day, really commanding climbing but so so good. A really great climbers route.

22 in the guide. Good fun edges and climbing.

This looked ard from the ground so a questioned the 7a price tag but signed up for the ride anyway. Yep hard, closer to 7a+ but brilliant pocket pulling with the odd jug so you can compose yourself. One of my favourite routes.

Cool climb on the upper level with solid smooth jugs of swinging fun. Pity it's so short but still worth the effort to get up there. That bamboo ladder is getting pretty sketchy.

Tricky steep pocket start then big slopes, finished at the 8a anchors..

I would say 24.. Hard but great pockets up the top arête.

Pretty easy 4 with just a two move crux. Some fun steep moves on jugs, funky middle section then more jugs.

A new squeeze job that I can assume is Megan's? Climbs ok but really shouldnt have been bolted as it doesn't add anything and the extra bolts are confusing.

Sweet long warm up, the first move had me a little worried but it was fine. Some fun arete and slab moves above, keen to do the second pitch next time.

On the way up for the extension. Felt a bit stiff for a 3 but great climbing.

This felt a little easier then Karinca but still pumpy. It has a little traverse which could spit you if your not working it.

One of the most popular 7a at the Gaybar. Good long tufa and blob climbing with a great OmG jug when you really need it. Fun.

Wow this was something different and really good. Long wall climbing with a lot of position dependent holds and thin moves. It's a pity it sharp in places. 5 routes before breakfast 8th day on nice.

Blobs, tufa's and buckets up a blank steep wall. Wicked fun jugging but I surprised myself by getting pumped. A great link-up line of limestone features.

Didn't feel that hard but super fun on jugs the whole way. Loved it.

Wicked pocket and feature climbing to a pop at the crux. A little tricky in places but pretty Stella.

Mega route with wicked limestone features the whole way, fell into a great knee bar rest at the top crux just in time. Down played in the guide but one of the best routes so far....

Rad undercling boulder down low (sux if your short) then good pockets with slope, polished feet. Wasps nests hiding near the anchor made this a scary, and quick clean.

Tufa fun, one hard pull down low then jugs. reminds me a little a kalymnos

Get your slab on.. A little soft this one and shorter then some of the other routes but a good change of style to get slabbin.

Even if its only 15m high when it's this sustained it feels much higher. Great hard slab climbing, the middle 3 bolts don't let you relax much.

Wicked little arête climb, the arête is only short at about 12m's but packs a punch. I may have skipped the top arête move but I was just following the chalk.

A new kaly must. Sweet moves all the way to the top of the wall no really hard moves but constantly absorbing and engaging climbing. 40m's of super orange block holds

Better rock on this one and some great climbing, climbs up into a cave for a rest then a hard couple of moves to reach the anchors.

I thought this was going to be the theme of the day, really hard for the grade. This climb only has a couple of good rests to keep it same. Glad I onsighted it because I wasn't keen for another lap.

Sweet route that should see my traffic even if you have to lower off a single bolt. I really had to work for it at the end of the day.

Gee I haven't worked this hard for a 7a for a while.. That said the moves weren't that hard just hard to read. Super climb with two crux's (not where you expect them) and the top head wall reminding me of verdon. Classic.

Pumpin, this climb is gold. Got stalled out on the bottom crux, just had to commit and pop and then ride the rails to the top. Fun fun.

Hooray I remembered how to climb!!! Finally got my shit together and tried hard instead of calling take, found my mojo Rad pocket climb which felt hard 6b hahaha.

Climbs like this is the reason I can to Spain! Rad pockets of all different sizes to the crimpy crux them more jugs. I had to wait a while to try this and it was worth the wait.

This route looked easy from the ground but it didn't climbed that way, I am really glad it got on it. Techie face pockets then skirt around a big roof to funky face.

All the next 3 routes are on the one wall and are all out of the world. Just pockets!!! 25 metres of pockets.. These are the routes I came here the climb. Tee shirt weather in the sun, downy in the shade.

The third of the perfect pockets and probably the softest. I would love 300m's of this kind of pockets.... Dream route.

Sustained and very thought provoking. Vertical limestone edges, underclings, gastons and side pulls, this short route has a fair bang for your buck.

Just like a nowra pocket wall classic but all the good pocket holds are split by the smoothest vertical limestone I have ever seen. Crux blob was very wet but still climb able. A couple of gripping moves.

Sick!! I am glad I got on this bolted trad line.. Stella Finger crack splitting this blank grey wall. Awesome!!!

Would be classic if it wasn't so sharp up top. The route itself is really good and commands a fair bit of balance to climbing up the arête mainly just using side pulls.

A high punch factor on this route, you keep expecting a rest spot then it's over. Nearly blew it on the slopper.

A nice long one to top out the cliff. The hardest moves are on the 6b+ section but still a little desperate at the top.

The full line this time, the hard moves are off the 6b belay then its fun but runout flake and crack climbing.

Keeps coming at you the whole way.

I thought the tufa would be the hard part, sustained edges and pockets in the top half.

One of those routes where you think that you just climbed the crux then it gets harder and harder. Split by good jugs but still no cake walk. The limestone on this wall feels very much like spurt wall with fine texture and funky orange holds.

Great to climb the local test piece. Didn't find it that bad as its a bolted crack, lots of fun. The layback crux keeps you on your toes.

I though this was going to be easy.... Nope. Long and sustained pocket pulling. The wall is vert with a few undulations so you have to work on the steeper places.

Whoa this was touch and go... Top of the crux threw my heel up for a high rock over and stuck the hold but only just. Thought I was off but my fingers stuck and pulled me to the top. I love onsighting.

Not that hard, another route at the crag of one move wonders.

Took me ages to figure out which line of bolts was the start. Good start moves with the reachy roof move pretty interesting. Got pretty pumped clipping the anchours.

Loved it and not to hard for 23. Those roof flakes are all glue and bolts and they still flex.

Agreed some of these bolts really need replacement. Awesome climb with funky movement and cool pockets, the top anchor is way back so i gingerly lower off the top crux bolt (the worse of all the crapy bolts)

The fun police were out in force in the way of wet fragile rock. There is plenty of rock on this route that should be removed

Funky route. Some hard moves mixed in with a heap of great jugs.

Not much chalk on this less traveled gem. Fantastic rock as the start and a great mix of interesting moves on flakes and edges.

More sustained and harder then it looked from the ground.

Hidden gem for sure!! I was suprised to find so much chalk on this route and quick learn why.

This climb is so fun, feels like a gully climb at arapiles. 40 metres of perfect square side pull edges and awesome holds. This route made my day, 16draws and you can lower twice on a 70m rope. Mega
