Ascents by Ben Jenga having Distinct route

Repeat. Great fun and one of my old favorites. Funky face climbing on gear. I found it a little harder then I remrmbered it but I was my first route of the day.

Awesome route that I was strangely nervous about. Hard but happy.

Repeat. I thought this would be a great way to finish a great day.... All passive gear send, that's a great idea.. Felt like the hardest I climbed all day, the gear was bomber but I really wanted some cam's to soothe my nerves.

I have long wanted to climb this and it didn't disappoint. A great adventure made better when I ran out of gear and had to make it or break it up the last bomber hand jamb section.

Found this nails, 22 at least. Massive run out at the top. Very gripping climbing but so good.

Hard start and sustained moves with some sketchy feet. A bit of a rope a gear stretch when linked with SDS. Wicked view from the top of the bluffs.

One off the life list. A great challenge in a wild position. Must do.

Hidden gem, good varied crack climb with bomber gear. Having a lower off at the top is a massive plus for us time poor sport climbers.

I am not sure when I climbed this but I do remember it was a bit of an epic and lots of fun. We started up the finger crack to the left.

A real crack climb, pretty hard up top but super fun if you can jamb. Would have been a good idea to tape. If you think this is a bit stiff check who climbed the first ascension

A great long pitch to say you have climbed on taipan. Good gear the whole way with a bomber wire on the last head wall protecting the tricky and reachy finish.

The sun came out I have seen photos of this route for years so it was super to finally get a chance to pull on. A climb of many styles that is hard for the grade but well worth the effort. The top slab….

Just the first pitch. Stella climbing and easy for 20. You could do the whole pitch on large and med wires.

Good long trad wall with only two carrots. Started up this just as the rain rolled in but thankfully it only sprinkled. Got a bit scared on the run-out middle section when I couldn't find any worthwhile gear. Glad the climbing is easy.

Worth bringing a rack to panther for one route... The crack section was good and passing the birds nests wasn't that bad but the top face climbing was very dirty and crunchy. 3 Camelot would of helped down low.

Back in the bluies Yo!!! Nice to be back The crux of this interesting warm up was by far trusting blue mountains choss again.

A quick little send with Paul's shoes. A couple of thumb locks and crimps and it's over. It's not 20 if you face climb the sh*t out of it.

Tuff warm up, I can tell I haven't climbed many slabs recently cause this felt hard. Great fun though.

Placing gear but with chalk all over it I can't claim an onsight. I think this is better, harder and longer then tranzister. Great rock on this one.

Lap on simo’s gear. He made it look 24 but turns out it is 20 and good chimney practice. Up to the lower off.

Warming up for the big show, trickier then it looks from the ground. The second half will make this a better longer warm up once dot adds a new anchor.

Repeat. Love this climb, such a great example of tech face climbing with fingers lock for fun.

If you avoid the first pitch and rap to the carrots at the start of the second then this route is pretty rad multi. The rock isn’t as bad as I had expected, the moves are fun, the gear is good (takes hex’s and 2x #3, #4) the biggest downfall for me is the approach from the lookout is pretty horrible Bush bash but it’s short.

Funky roofy trad that is fully dry on a wet day, a rare thing in the blue mountains. The rock is a lot better then it looks.

Well its got all the elements blue mountains trad climbing. loose, crap rock, plants, running out of gear all the fun stuff. Some good climbing but i wouldn't be in a rush to get back on this.
