Ascents climbed between 2019-00-00 and 2019-12-31 by Vanessa Wills having Sport CPR

Almost Blueys feeling, crimps, side pulls and some glue. Climbed up and down at the lower crux about 6 times working out the reachy sequence ( dave didn’t even notice this) and got the top crux well, quite exciting.

Been on the fridge list for a while, nice rock, varied great climbing

Quite thin and just made the dead point distance.

I could see the way to do the move above the 4 th bolt to large pocket for Dave, but too far for me. Took a while to work out alternate sequence that meant getting both feet above the overlap. Nice climb though.

Thankful for the ledge between the crux bits. Great climb in 2 halves

Not memorable.

First 2/3 reasonably pleasant

Definitely harder than Rudolf and suboptimal bolt placements with ledge fall potential. Crux move good but nails. Wouldn’t be out of place for a 24. Could be reach, but I note others found it hard.

I loved this route, every hold was at full reach, but not stupidly so, and great moves

FFA. Quite crimpy. May only be 23 with more cleaning. Fantastic victory jug.

This was meant to be an easy warm up, but trickier than it looks. The crimps felt better today than back in December.

Overbolted and short but nice rock and good movement

Rpt putting draws on, felt ok despite being sick for 2 weeks and not climbing at all, flashing all routes

Rpt from years ago. Used some small cams in horizontal above last bolt. Nice technical moves.

Rpt, for a no fall day. Would have done all the routes but MR Christmas poo was occupied. This route is pretty reachy, but happy with Alz OS

Enjoying the 26 pieces of pro I had placed on the red point attempt

Did TR it early in its development with Fantini, he has added a number of new bolts including some small aperture hangers and give it a good scrub. Some old blts have not been removed. Puppy. Spectacular top 15 m but pretty average rock quality in middle 10 m. Puppy placing the oodles of qds, especially trying to find ones that fit the hangers mid crux.

Had to clean it so not an os. Short but fun

The rope is annoyingly in the way if you clip the first bolt. If you clip the second you are essentially top ropingit. Felt easier today, even without hang board training, may be the friction.

First go today, took way too long clipping crux draw, but managed to get back to knee bar and recover

Definitely 24 for the short without the ability to get off the first ledge easily,and 2 other very reachy bits. Dogged up it the top roped clean, but only by mcdougalling right at the first crux- and it still felt 24 and I definitely had to use pockets.

Second shot, to first set of anchors. Nice to have a long draw on second go. I sat on the crux a bit trying different methods first go, and went back to how I first tried it. Quite tricky. Rest of route is nice. Not interested in chipped routes, so didn’t try top, and didn’t use the apparent chip at the low crux.

The amount of glue around the flake made me nervous.

A bit of bolted crack climbing, then a super reachy crux ( or mcdougall to arete).

Clearly I have improved at techno slabs. Did it quite different to Dave. 2 good boulder problems really.

An in your face warm up.

Great mix of climbing styles with muggy roof to finish

Climbs ok, but marred by the bolting I think which should have been more to the left in the upper part.

Contrived

Deduct a star for the gross starting mantle/ grovel. It’s ok, not 3 star and definitely not the best 21 or 22 in Sydney.

Climbs nicely

Amazing sinker 2 finger pockets that make you worried about losing them, but hard to pick the best, quite a few red herrings. Second go.

Pretty nice, like 4 separate routes. Pitch 2 and 4 more sustained. A handful of cams for 3 Rd and 4 th pitches doesn’t go astray. It was damn cold, and I think I now have an A 2 pulley strain

I was coming down with a virus, but this seemed very hard for 22. Reach does have a fair bit to do it.

Climbed very little on arete.

I have done harder 5s this trip....nice climb. I love this wall.

I didn’t like this one, because the bolts were all out of reach. The climbing I thought was easier than It’s twin Fidel.

Amazing holds, quite unexpectedly good once you commit
