Nice to be climbing again, even if jet lagged and flu ridden.

Alt 70 m pitches with Dave. He stayed in his approach shoes the whole way. Not sure where 5.7 is, the descent was more challenging. Great views and fun feature. Booty cam and wire. Nice to get out of the smoke in the Bow valley.

liked the name. Unfortunately a storm blew in after so that was it for Lumpy ridge.

Alt pitches. First on route by about 15 minutes after getting up at 430am. Back in camp 420 pm. Climb took about 3 hours. Wished it went on longer.

Decided the direct start wasn't a good warm up and did this instead. Nice climbing

A long way to come with a shoulder that makes a 14 miserable!. Stupid topout with major risk of killing someone below

About 4 degrees, we bailed after this. Great old school climb that just keeps going.

Well, the first 3 pitches anyway in about 10 minutes with 3 bits of gear. Might get back to it one day. On a weekday. Before any other climbers around.

Not sure what came over me, but I took our #12 up willingly and was happy to have it to supplement the 2 old carrots. That was the good part of the climb

Not sure why I has never done this, the twin cracks are quite fun. Anchors need replacing, more crap eyebolts.

I thought this was quite nice climbing with a convenient anchor at 17 m, ( and the old chain immediately below). Initialled. With Jonty.

Would be a nice beginner route apart from the 50 yo carrot and lichenous slab

Graded 15 in guide. Perhaps the second pitch is harder which we didn’t do. With Jonty.

Amazing rock, with tiny lattices between the water washed granite, and an easier way to get to the first belay of Rain Shadow when you haven’t warmed up yet.

Pitch 1 only. ( by mistake), mainly solo, then roped up for the last 5 m when it looked a bit serious.

First route in Bohulsan, easy but fun

Think I did all these with andrew stock in 2006. Ticked in the book.

Limited wide gear with us

Apparently I soloed this years ago. I must have been stupid. The jam bit is fine but the offwidth is insecure

FFA. May have been done previously? Done by 6 people, and the other climbers at the crag thought it looked ok and were considering bringing a trad rack in to do it. #5 or #6 handy.

Fond but sad memories from my previous ascent of this with Nick. Did it today from Blackmans camp with Dave and Jonty. The rocks average but the experience is great.
