Ascents of The Shield as Onsight

Arrived here at about 8 pm after a hike through Oswaldhöhle; it rained all the way, but the rock was dry and there was still enough sunlight in this part of the crag to climb. Definitely worth it although the first bolt is quite high (the sling before it doesn't really help). After reaching relative safety, there's sustained climbing on pockets with homogenous difficulties. I found the anchor hard to clip. Seems like this one is almost never climbed, no chalk on a single hold and quite dusty. A true onsight! ;-)
