I was destroyed by this...and it starts 5m off the ground? huh? might end up being worth it. Goes through some super terrain and has awesome rock!

Inspiring line. Super good rock climb. First 30! Very stoked.

Figured it out and then got to the crux twice skipping the clip and whipping massively. Great climbing, long hard pulls and really continuous.

spent a while flaying my tips on the crux section. Didn't feel impossible as it did last time.

dogged it once with a buggered finger. Must do it one day.

2 shots. One hanged it. Doesn't feel too bad. Perfect power endurance route. Zero rests.

short but great!!! This whole route is horizontal! Mat gave me a go and I found a couple of knee bars... Just have one move at the start to figure out

I havn't had exploding forearms like this for ages. I couldn't remember very many of the moves on my routes that this utilises and muffed most of the sequences!! 2nd'd Lee to get the draws off with 2 dogs at the crux and one at the crux of overseer (21)!!

A few more goes. Still fluffed it at the crux.

I somehow managed to be fit enough to do this easily on my 2nd go!! Very surprised! My secret: reach back and unclip 8 draws on the way to reduce drag

Bloody super route!!! Managed the 28 start and got the rest in a couple of sections! Keen to get back here....

4 yrs ago I was virtually shut down by this but huge progress this time. Did the crux with ease compared to last time. soon...

Got to the end on my second go but the move is so hard! I need to come back and figure it out properly

Had a couple of very tired throws at this. Did ok. Very psyched to finish it off

Just one shot. Got to the crux ok... After I figured it out I went to the top.

got all the sections. Some difficulty at the pocket up high. Shorter than I remembered

Amazing route. Had two cracks, got all the moves without too much trouble and had a rad time

Had a play at the end of the day. The diabolical bit is diabolical.

Frey gave me a go when it was still his project.

Managed to drag my carcass up this. One move at the lip was really burley for me but the rest was ok.

What do you get when you stack a 26 on top of a 25? Up Wailer til its last bolt but then traverse right for 3m to the start of the business end of 'The Last Piece' finishing up this. 8 shots over 3 days.

First shot today! (2nd day/3rd shot overall) 19.8.04: Got it in two overlapping sections. Now I just have to hold on for the ride!!!(2 shots)

Fairly brutalised but progress!

2nd go. Bloody good. Really tenuous and desperate with a couple of hard clips. There are a lot of hard to hold holds in the first half.

Had a quick go while it was still Ross' project. Very nice! especially in the top half.

Heaps of progress. Got the last bolts in, Did the middle bit that I couldn't figure out before and I'm one move off doing the start!

Way too hard for me at that stage

dogged a lap to clean up a few stray hangers etc

Did all the moves bar the boulder start (which I've nearly caught previously) and led past the last bolt to the anchor. Needs a clean but will be good. Big moves on really steep wall with mostly really big holds. Might be 25 after the start move? Finishes with a great lip mantle going from 50 degree wall to a hanging ledge. Very atmospheric for a short route!!

Breaks left from the 5th bolt of Insanity. climbed 3m past my last bolt about 10-12 times (taking some big air on the way) but I got through the crux to the next clipping hold. I'll just have to finish equipping it now.

Hooray!!! My new hardest route. Have a go and tell me what you think.

got the anchor in and had a quick thrash. Needs a clean but I'm now convinced it will go.

Got it with a fall cause i couldn't remember the sequence. Such a good route!!

1st day of redpointing. got it with two falls, one at the anchor. Very steep and cool. The final clipping jug broke making it a touch harder. Awesome!!!

Great! I just missed the very last move on my second go!! I couldn't have gotten any closer and not ticked it!!

Did another lap for breakfast but pulled off the final clipping jug on the way back down. Then I led it again without the. jug. It's harder now!! Maybe 28?

another thrashing. good progress. I've done it in 2 sections now, up to the rest and from the rest to the top. Now I just need to be fit enough to rest.
