The first half of this is amazing, super fun climbing (didn’t bother to try the slabby top). Really like that first sequence and that dyno/ dead point is really cool, just fully committing made it pretty fine.

Absolutely classic climbing with two very unique Styles throughout the climb and fun cruxs ! I wanted to jump on more but the wind and cold Made it undesirable to climb any more routes!

Totally underestimated this route. It can be very reachy through the crux, and there are a lot of big moves. Sent second shot.

Loved the moves, but nothing left in the tank. So I just had a play sitting on every bolt to the top. Not in shape for the steep stuff at the moment.

Got this one second shot which was unbelievably rad (not including my one attempt years ago when I was 12 that ended before the crux). My first go saw me bungling the first moves and dogging my way up to the ridiculous fourth bolt. I had a hang here and then onsighted through the crux to the top. The second go was solid the whole way with a brief interlude spent on a sit down rest. Great climb and one I've been meaning to do for ages.

Two goes in the rain. Went to the top from below the second bolt which was novel but didn't quite link the start boulder. Connies were not on but also Jack had a brilliant go on Mechanical so I'm probably just soft.

Definitely the best warm up here, if not as classic as the original routes. It was bloody arctic and Liz is way more tough than I am so I belayed her on some big kids climbs and just did this one myself. First go but I've done the two originals.

Second go today, seventh tie in total, but lots of goes across those tie ins at the opening boulder. Maybe the hardest thing I have done at the grade. This feels closer to 28 than 26 for me, especially in today's spooge, and I didn't even do the direct awful, snappy, gluey flake boulder at the top. I'm very surprised I held on, so surprised that I feel I almost dropped it from stress at the thought of having to do the start again. A good route ticked off the heinous boulder problems list (think Iron Mike, Bare Essentials etc).
