Ascents in Coastal Cliffs having Beta

Perfect!

Finally got to try out this wicked climb! I am hoping it turns out to be a project to continue working on, which depends a bit on removing the giant spike of a rock that has randomly rolled underneath it. May take a deal of effort.

Conditions weren't fantastic but I had an absolute blast working on this! Night bouldering is also possibly my new favourite thing

Such a stoke-inducing boulder, can't wait to try it again!!

Came pretty close to flashing this mega classic! Fell at the second move, hopped back on from the pinch and right start hold and managed to get to the top. Definitely will need to come back to send with fresh skin, water and energy!

Three sessions on this in a week was a bit much for my skin and body to handle but i'm super stoked about the progress made. Was amazing having such a big crew and so many stoked people to climb with! Definitely have to get back on this asap

More attemts today but wasn't feeling strong on the first nor last move. Will definitely come back to revisit this gem.

Have probably fallen of the crux move about 200+ times over the last 5 months. Need some better beta or maybe I just need to get stronger, anyone done it with beta to share?

Was just playing on this, well above my abilities. Could only do the moves out to the lip.

Have finally taken this one down after about two years of falling off it. Wouldn't have thought to send it in the really bad conditions but did it first go and again about 5 minutes later. So happy to have finally ticked it, time to move on and find another project!

Great burly boulder problem

Kind of like one of those one-move-wonder things. Went down relatively quickly within a handful of tries in around 5 to 10 minutes.

Surprisingly I managed to get my arse off the ground (even with three pads).

Not as mega as I remember or hard,worked out all the sections, not sure about the grade maybe 25,ill have to come back and link it. Its just fun cutting laps back and forth.

Flashed it but did a little dab on the pad after hitting the jug . Took quite a few more attempts to finally get it

I can't stay away from Freycinet

Had a play on the moves joining the two sections of crack because it began to almost seem more feasible than the traverse move on the original. Again, I still got completely destroyed!!

Clean on top rope, slimy conditions didn’t inspire me to try for the lead...

Placed all gear on lead, so soo rad!!!

Battled the slime and worked at night. Changed the crux beta a bit and sent.

Brilliant and varied climb, with a reachy crux.

Easily the best route I've climbed on the white granite.

The crux is uber technical and whilst well protected there is always the possibility of massive airtime.

An absolute masterpiece. Managed all the moves, but feels really hard at the moment. Exciting

Diabolically technical! Sacrificed some skin finding dyno beta. The final move mantling the hanging off-width is mental! Feels low percentage and condition dependant. Going to go for the link next session.

Linked in two sections, got all the moves dialled. Need to sort the pre-rack and tie in for the lead!

Two big whippas, so, so wet! Condi's are a massive crux for this route.

First working session went surprisingly well, rapped in and tried my best to clean the spooge off, first half is pretty straight forward, not sure about the beta for the direct, felt like I needed to transition from left to right back to left. the seeping wet mossy crack was not helping my efforts 😅 pulled a few of the direct moves, will head back preferably not the day after heavy rain and give it another suss, gear seems excitingly non existent at the top

Awesome climbing, crux is joining the direct top crack but with perfect conditions this feels achievable. Top section is great but I can't imagine placing gear on this route being strait-forward.

Pretty wild how many awesome moves and different styles are packed into about 10m of climbing! Amazing route and deserves more attention. Crux is very reach dependant, maybe doesnt go for wingspans under 175cm or so...

Another lead in bad conditions, wondering if I'll ever see the bottom free of spooge. Climbed clean to the crux and couldn't hold the slopers in full sun. Another time perhaps!
