Ascents in Coastal Cliffs as Retreat

Again no topo available on this one. Another tricky bouldery start like Mathonwy, couldn't make the move and chickened out

pitch 2 was seeping wet, bailed out

Yosemite training. Free up to end of first crack. Couldn't free the blank slab to next crack and couldn't quite reach the next placement from my top step. Backed off and cleaned by rapping from top of HT

Too wet to make it work

Clean to the crux and then I started leaking blood from my finger all over the wall and could not use the imaginary holds with bloody hands. Super keen to have another crack at this

Got a long way above and right of the 2nd bolt with no gear in sight. Was scared so down climbed back to the bolt and bailed

Conditions were worse than the last time I tried this and I couldn't even get to the crux.

Got really spooked at the very start so bailed and did ultimate conception instead

Jumped on it without realising what it was, thought there might be micro crimps but it ended up being pretty glassy. I'm assuming this is the climb directly across from the top of Light Fingered Maddison. Pretty bloody scary second bolt, seems like a 50/50 ground fall, belayer needs to be on top of their game. Lost my right foot while trying to clip and dropped the quickdraw on my belayers head. Somehow saved myself on a pretty average crimp and the hot coal I was standing on with my left toe. Tried twice for the third bolt before giving up. It might be an okay climb, but I wouldn't climb it on lead unless the bolts are updated to be less potentially career ending.

Came to do this but the waves were breaking on the belay

Feels good to 4th bolt lol. Everything becomes impossible after that

pretty daunting so i got scared half way up the last crack. much regret looked dope

the scene of my funniest climbing mishap. after workibng the moves and repeated falls low down. the climb finnaly felt smooth and flowy until reaching the finnishing sloper, and a huge wave crashed over us leaving me and alex entirely soaked. then i desperatly fiddled with gear while so i could lower off as my sloper had turned into a puddle

Gear in the groove is very tricky!

Shut down with a couple of falls at the thin hands bit. Will improve on the gear placement positions next time.

A hold blew on Al's lead, and he took a bit of a heinous fall, so we bailed.

Awesome climb! Bailed when it started raining just as I reached the slab! Argh!

Body needed more rest, hands needed more skin. Will come back.
