really tough at grade

Heh. V2 going direct, for sure. Imagine the worst move you might find that ruins an otherwise classic route. Now imagine a route that consists solely and utterly of that move. That is this "route" (I use that term loosely). 2 shots. Fell off after sticking the crux move. Not worth the time to tie back in again.

Some people were doing some good drugs when they gave this 3 stars (and measured it at 12m). Grade 22 climbing for 7m, then a V4 boulder problem to make the last metre to the anchors. I never put together the last move, and really couldnt be bothered.

There was blood; a lot of blood. Absolutely saturated the base of the crag with around half a unit's worth. Did this climb around 6 times in the end. Always falling off and cutting an other body part on the same last move and then getting it straight after. Should have really had it on the third go since I almost onsighted it the first time; but alas my progress was matched by loss of able fingers. Excellent and now more solid for the grade with Tom breaking off a roof crimp hold.

Far out that last move is hard, I just need to link it in with the rest of the route and its done.

V3 stopper crux... that move felt about the limit of what I can do through this kind of steepness. The sequence is interesting (and desperate), and if his were a boulder off the ground it would be worth the effort. As it is, it's not worth another lap.

awesome route but desperatly need a rebolt. not a one for the hangers

More junk. I couldnt clip the anchors of the 20 (the crux move of both routes) and fell off. Not worth the effort of back-climbing it to clean it. The best move is gaining the traverse.

o/s pumped out at the 2nd roof.

Nails. Off the ground: right sidepull, right foot in hole, left sidepull. 1st crux: left hand undercling, right hand to slopy gaston, left on slimper (skip the lower left stuff), left foot all the way up over there, rollover and crank to crimp and for dear life to rail. 2nd crux: double palm press in roof to jug in middle of roof (left of bolt). Couldn't do right side, it's a long way, but the moves after it were awesome.

2 shots today. Really awkward mantle after sustained steep and roof climbing. Sequence sorted but just need to link it with the hard mantle next time.

Pretty good route!! Steep and punchy. Intimidating lead.. As you really dont want to mess up while clipping cos you'll probably hit a ledge.

Got stuck trying to get above the ledge on the left. After that it was pretty simple!

Trying Neil's way for a change which involved pinching a hand hold instead of using the crimp. Whatever way you choose it will always remain awkward...

Stellar start, then a bit AWKWARD. If you've done your mantling apprenticeship on Sydney sandstone you should hump to glory

Warmup and figuring beta. First move is damn tricky/hard

The first couple of moves could qualify as a three star boulder problem in itself. The middle bulge ruins the climb in my opinion as the end is also quite fantastic in its own right.

Yuck! Couldn't even get this done today. Fell at the start, got back on and then sat at second bolt! Spooge fest! I had sweat everywhere!
