Ascents in Sydney Metropolitan as Flash

Beautiful climb. Truly epic with large swells and high winds to build the atmosphere.

IMPORTANT

While I was belaying my partner up the final pitch, sitting on the edge of the cliff, I believe one of the locals called the police as they feared that I was a suicide risk. This resulted in the police arriving and fining both me and my partner for 'crossing a national park boundary'. Not sure if the fine will eventuate or not, and I intend to dispute it if it seems legally feasible, but it's worth putting in the record that fines have been received at this location.

Sick moves! Ripper. Had just done the 24 and managed to flash the crux of this one and link the whole thing 1st go! Stoked.

Fun route wade, 3 crux's split by good rests. I was climbing well until I got bogged down in the dirt cracks up top. This really reminds me of the far cave a Mt Alex. Onsight on wades project draws.

It's not 26 for me. I assume the first ascent used a dyno? i took the like of least resistance through the flakes, i don't think either way is much harder but i tend to avoid dynamic moves where possible. It would be nice having one more bolt i think as the mental debate assessing how close the ground is plays on the mind a little, but maybe this keeps it exciting. Climbs nicely and deserves more traffic.

Probably some best climbing I did. Committing start then fun roof jugging. With the draws up its only 24 really.

23 maybe 24. Great find. Barely there. Slabs & offwidths, the Hawaiin surf measurement of climbing. Obviously condition dependent. No sign of enhancement.

I lost the rock toss so Paul went up first to equip, brush and chalk. What service Made it pretty easy to sneak through for a quick flash. Great climbing with some terrible footers through the crux section. Should see more traffic.

Cannot believe I managed this, had to look at a video and beta before trying. Defs missed the Undercling that made the difference after watching Josh Porter have a crack first.

I slunk up thin mini-flakes 1 m left at crux bolt (at about 22)...the direct past the bolt looked harder than 22! left dave's draws in.

Hip replacement therapy may be required.

Fun climbing on manky carrots.

2 laps, the first was Beta flash putting the draws on the second was to take the draws back off. Stella climbing on mainly big steep jugs, heel hooking through the mega roof is great. One of the best cleaning swings around, its going to be a radical rope swing from the top of the crag.

This route has it all. Great steep climbing on solid good quality rock and really fun combination of moves the whole way. I nearly came of the crux, a rather reachy move.

Nice one bundy, glad you finally freed this one. This is only a semi-flash, I went direct at the no hands rest first shot then fell off. Next shot climbed the proper crux via the wrong hold (the big white tick mark to the tiny pocket turned out to be bird poo) Did another lap via the direct finish same grade just big move and less climbing.

Flash because I did the bottom section on the 23. Putting the draws on, nice pumpy training route. The sequence is pretty cool and unusual at the start, the mega roof just pure radness!

Fantastic rock. Junkyard classic! Didn't even notice the line on my first few trips here. A gem.

First 24. two boulder problems to jugs.

Very thin and sharp holds. Haven't had to grunt this hard in a while. The sequence is nice!

This is well steeper then it looks in the guide. Mostly jugs but a couple big moves and a tricky top out. Fun
