Hard crux after pulling some tufas. Slight kneebar with the right leg, then cross with the right hand into a very sharp crimp, then keep up the body tension and pull up with the left hand into a one- to two-finger pocket (I could only get my pinky and ring finger in), put the feet up and slap up with the left onto a sloper and then further to the right into a painful pocket (the deeper in the better). The rest is easier in beautiful white limestone.

This thing is an abolute classic steep climb. Had a couple of plays, working out some beta. Hopefully it will stay dry with the impending rain this week and i can try to send it.

Very cool route, almost felt like Franconian limestone. ;-) Small pockets, a nice dynamic move into a huge jug, then a delicate sequence into two good slit-like pockets and a slightly overhanging finish with a good hook around the edge.

Very cool start, but couldn't find a way to do the crux. Pulled on the quickdraw and finished the rest, which is also quite nice. Lots of bird droppings on the ledge after the overhang, though.

Again, the crux section killed me. Forgot to put my left foot around the corner to stabilise the move into the two-finger pocket. Bummer.

Wow! This is possibly best roof I have had the pleasure of climbing. I´m lacking a bit of fitness and mental game at the moment but i´ll be back on the weekend to have a go at tickiing this beast off.

Another working lap, at te end of the day. I did much better on it than before but i need to be on it fresh. Its such a long roof, which means it is a real pumper!

2 and a half more laps, with better linkage and some better beta (which Vanessa came up with), but I feel like this is either hard for the grade or i just simply don´t have any fitness at the moment...(probably the latter)

Couple of working laps. This thing is short but the climbing is awesome! Very bouldery. Let down only by the second bolt being a little low, as for me, i need to climb past the 3rd to clip and that puts you dangerously close to the ground when you fall (as i found out). Coming back with heavier belayer so i can hopefully push past that fear.

Pretty close to an onsight but forgot a crucial intermediate at the top on the second and fell at the same point. Some sharp holds but the climbing is awesome. Pity about the shitty placed bolts at the second bolt and the last bolt before the runout to the anchor...both are potential biner snappers! Also the finish is pretty runout and hard, so you don't want to fall on that last one. A long sling from the anchor to protect yourselfwill help until someone fixes it one day....

Tried for an EOD flash but the fingers were well hurting by this stage and this has some harsh rock in parts. Great climbing again, on a variety of holds. Felt easier than BC next to it, so i will come back on my last day here (Wednesday) and try to do both of them!

Almost finished the route and got a huge whipper in the last meter to the top. Touched the backwall with my ass and finally know why the route is called this way - but I felt just pain, no pleasure.

Since this had already been led, I was able to attempt to clean the route. I was too tired to reach the first clip, bailing on MariCristina and trying the start for slightly easier Cristina, but after multiple attempts on MC I could start C either. MC is long, steep and flows if you learn the route. Optional rest out left before a final overhanging section. Nicolas gracefully cleaned for me doing MariCristina Direct barefoot 😂 the ultimate of humblings! A beautiful climb I’d love to return to some day.

Awesome, steep route with a very fancy rest position in the middle. Almost flashed it, but I didn't commit to the very last move enough, which is a dyno around the edge. Very damp holds, too, which adds to the pump.

Tried to onsight at the end of the session and i tohught i was there but its not over until you get to the anchor, oops! Awesome line, with amazing pockets, tufas and some big jugs that offer good rests. I suspect the crux would be easier if i didn´t have to mono the ´2 finger pocket´ Coming back for this one, as there was no light and i was tired from 27 hours travelling...

Holy moly! What a route. And what a cave. Must be seen to be believed. A big thankyou to Carolina for placing draws on this route. I managed a few decent moves in a row, and eventually got up with about 6 falls. Super fun, and super safe climbing. It's the limestone equivalent of Coolum Cave. Sublime overhung jugginess.

First half is nice and easy climbing on big holds. Top half has 2 hard sections on small feet and small holds, very technical and beautiful, partly slabby. Wanted to give it a send go after checking out the route but sadly didn't have enough time left, felt possible

1x trying all the moves then 2 red point tries after but some slightly wet holds and me not being strong enough after a week of climbing mean I can only tick the hang dog. The route is awesome! Steep overhang on mostly jugs with tufas pockets and edges, lovely!

An excellent overhang with optional knee bar for partial rest which I opted out of but regretted further up when I struggled to find the line and pumped out needing to take a rest before the final clip. This is such a fun climb I would have liked to repeat a few times but with just half a day at this crag I decided to go for variety over repetition. A must if you’re at this spot! Since we were done I cleaned the route essentially on top rope but still a heap of fun! Would like to return a little fitter, lighter and lead it a few times.
