Ascents in Tāmaki-makau-rau / Auckland as Lead

I would be very careful climbing this route - the loose blocks lower down are obvious and can be managed, but the large section of hanging blocks in the mid upper section of the climb appears unstable, and i would be very careful not to pull hard on many of the holds through that section. Consequently, unless you know what you are doing climbing on loose chossy terrain, then dont do this climb,

Very enjoyable climb, theres only really a couple of places where I would say it was 22 especially the crux maybe harder ,,but most of the climb seemd like 18-19,,

Terrible rock quality, at least a couple of decent sized suspect blocks, do not recommend. Think I climbed this a while back but do not remember the rock being quite so shit.

Fantastic moves, definitely sits at a 17 or 18.

Best route on the wall - lovely sustained and interesting moves right to the top. Nice grade 18, certainly no harder than that

Interesting mix of smears, face climbing, and old style chimneys and off width climbing, all protected with bolts! Beware not to miss the fourth bolt which I did not spot and subsequently got a little scared looking at a decent runout to the fifth bolt on the arch. Fourth bolt hard to see when climbing, hidden on the edge on the right. Good climb

Direct up the face, developed a new move from previous ascents.

Straight up the face

First lead after previous top rope 5 years ago, a little spicy at the second bolt, hard to get the feet right. Completely missed the anchor (to the right) and climbed well passed it (to the left), run out down climb ensued.

probably best route at the crag - sustained interest all way through climb, really nice

Spotted booty nut in crack, by the state of the nut I wasn't the first to attack it. Still there and even more munted now.

Mixed climb. Led on gear but clipped 3rd bolt as otherwise basically soloing the 1st 1/2 of climb.
