5 star roof. Happy to finally get back to it. Contender for best 8a in the peninsula, yet this might only be the 2nd ascent!?

Got onto it day -2 of lockdown in the horizontal rain. Was good to get back to it and get to the top:D Epic boulder problem. Radical sitstarts might make it solid:')

Let’s go, nice route

My beta from mono's kneebar rest - left hand to a side pull then left heel to gift of wings leftmost crimp; right hand to the crescent moon jug then bump left hand to higher sidepull. From here change left heel to toe and add left kneebar (I used a kneepad). Right hand gaston above left hand and left hand to undercling (on gift); power right foot up to one of the crimps on gift. From here use same beta as gift .

My heel hook beta combined with Steve's tall person beta, this is not much harder than Salami. Ossem moves though.

Nice line with cool ending.

Such a cool route.....The beta that worked for me was left heel and go for the jug with the left hand. For the Upper crux I used the low left heel through all the crimps. Went down first time I stuck the jug in the roof.

Tried this some years ago and found it super hard. Went surprisingly easy this time around. Super cool crux seq.

Finally! Stopped counting how many times I fell off the last hard move. Then I hurt my toe on another route and was unable to stand on this tiny right foot, so had to find new beta for the move. This (better) beta enabled me to send, but only on the next session. Hardest face climb to date.
