We did it in 4 pitches, but with 60m ropes, a few more 3's and a whole lot more stamina, it could have been done as 3 pitches. Will probably get a little easier with more traffic, but should still test out your fisting skills...

Climbed Acid Test to get to pitch 2, as first pitch completely overgrown. First 30m of pitch 2 is awesome, but maybe best for the rope to set a belay just after stepping around the arete? (Didn't take enough long slings...)

It is run-out, just like the guide says. Not much point in taking anything other than a .75BD. Would be really good if it was three times as long. Probably a little soft for a pipes 20.

Wanted to do this ever since I saw it 3 years ago, and if anything it's even better than I'd imagined! A moderate multipitch in an amazing location on amazing rock, with real climbing on practically every pitch! The move around the roof on pitch 8 is awesome.

Unique for Tassie? Amazing second pitch, could almost close your eyes and just reach for huecos the whole way up! Good rock with only a little crust that doesn't present any problems.
