Really engaging climbing! My first 12a Squamish onsight.

Merry Xmas onsight! Love how unsustained this climb was! Make some moves, rest for 5 mins, make a few more moves, rest again, repeat ha ha Perfect for not getting trash pumped.

Could that have been any more fun?! Can see why this gets all the stars!

I really enjoyed this climb! Felt easier to me than The Curse of the Furry Beast 12a.

Sooooo much fun! Hard to grade for me. Felt harder than Betazoid, but they are totally different styles. Beware: there is a mud wasp nest at the highest point of the diagonal flake before it turns horizontal! I put a couple X's to warn where the nest is. The are super chill and didn't seem to care that I was climbing near them.

This climbs really well. It was nice watching someone climb it before me and having the draws already hung.

Loved that it wasn't sustained because it was the perfect climb for where I am at endurance wise right now ha ha

This might win for my fav climb at Fern! It has so many great holds and cool moves. I am having trouble deciding if it is because I am tall or I am finally just getting a bit stronger because it felt super casual on my 1st burn today. LOL

Such a great route! Only wish my fingers weren't numb so that I enjoyed it more!

We did the 5.8 first pitch as a warm up last week,. So today we did Death of a Tradman 10a as the first pitch and linked it with the 11d second pitch. The 11d is excellent!

This was my favourite route in EPC so far! Really cool holds and got me pumped as everything does here. Ha ha

So fun!! 1st go figured the beta out, 2nd go it went down. Kinda wished it was twice as long...

The first 3 bolts of this climb were very cruxy and felt a little desperate!! The crack portion was super fun but was made a little more difficult as I had to skip what turned out to be a massive jug because there was a bush growing out of it! I spent a few minutes on the way down removing it for Karen to have an more enjoyable experience.

I had avoided ever trying this climb for years because of the mixed reviews I had heard about it. But today after sending Vikings, I decided to give it a rip and was pleasantly surprised at how good it is!

Absolutely excellent! Would highly recommend!

A really thin and tough boulder problem right off the deck, followed by fun pocket climbing. A little overgrown but still very climbable.

Really fun climbing with good rests. These long routes are so fun, but dang they are pumpy for me!

Super neat climbing on the polished traverse to a great jug haul finish!

Another stellar line in this picturesque area! Great holds on a slight overhang is my idea of a good time It was great to belay my fiancé on this, her first outdoor 5.12!

Sharp! Messed up the crux first go and got it on the second. This felt harder to me than Betazoid... Maybe it was because it was the last climb of the day, the top was super dirty, or I didn't take a rest after my first burn.... Hmmm which excuse do I want to pick ha ha

Gets my vote for worst climb at Horne Lake lol Had walked by it for years and should have kept walking by it. Not sure if there is better beta but I ended up campusing the crux and trying way too hard on slippery soapy feet ha ha

Excellent climb! Thanks K for going first and putting the draws up for me. As for grading, felt very similar to Dream with the fishes 11c at the hideout for me.

What a beautiful climb! I think it might be the best 12b I have done! There's nothing I love more then climbing an almost vertical face on crimps. Just wish it was twice as long.

So glad we got on this climb today because it is officially my new favourite warm up at Fern! It's nice and long and has great movement.

Probably should have cleaned it before getting on it, but wanted to try for an onsight ha ha. Poor choice, the dirtiness and strange bolting on this one led me astray on the first go. Ended up going bolt to bolt through the overhang to clean it. Sent next go. Once it was clean, it was really fun powerful climbing on good holds!

Nothing but love for this route! Fun moves on great rock in a pristine location! I figured out my beta last time I was here and it flowed on the first go today.

Some nice to climbing to be had on this route. I chose the wrong opening sequence for my 1st burn. 2nd burn was much better 👍

Happy I took the stick clip on the 2nd bolt advice because I slid right off the wet holds at the bottom and almost took a dip! ha ha This thing climbs so well once you dry enough holds off at the bottom

Some techy face climbing leads to jugs at the top.

Sooooooo much deliciously fun climbing to be had when you link the 2 pitches into one 160 foot route! Warning: when linking both pitches and the climber is on the lighter side, our new 70m rope barely made it to the sub anchor and I had to climb up to the first bolt so my partner could access the anchor.
