The annoyingly hard boulder problem at the start isn’t very fun hahah. Wouldn’t blame anyone who would rather pull past it lol. This route will be a memorable one as it’s the first time I’ve ever ripped a piece. Got flamed on the flash burn and rushed a placement and took the plunge weeeeee. Very good
The traddiest of trad climbs. Took a fall figuring out the initial boulder problem and then took close to the top because I didn’t see an obvious pocket. Was quite breezy on the second go. Mega route all round
My favourite 19 in the mountains. Such an amazing climb with a big variety of different styles. Good gear. Got scared in anticipation of a difficult climbing while placing first 3 pierces of gear and asked to lower. After I put myself together did it clear at second attempt.
Fell on the first crux on the onsight attempt. Tye pointed out a big jug out left, which helped on the second try. Led both pitches together as a single
Came back for this one. Last climb of the trip. The rain came on after the send of thunder crack so we took cover and had lunch. After it was evident it wouldn't stop completely we scrambled down the chains in the wet terrain and stood before Morfydd. I went for it with all the confidence I could muster and shivered up the top, still warm from the send.
Cool bouldery start with big moves on bad slopers. Loved it. Then an easy wall before the lovelycrack to finish. Decent gear, but pumpy at the top so tough to place. Slippery handjam rest.
After my rainy attempt the day before i didnt think i was gunna be able to send this. But very happy i cheated on my rest day and decided to climb anyway.
