Classy’ish wall

This route actually has it all. Good line with 2 cruxes very different in style. Very enjoyable and nice position

The easiest of the trio. All about the position on the arete and exposure. About grade 17.

Good. Best of the trio. Worth the walk.

Easy for a 16, the crux seems to be just before to anchor bolts. cruisy even for a beginner.

Exciting second pitch and ridiculous chimney squeeze on the thirds.

Punchy start, then pumpy to the top. All this time off has got me getting pumped on everything. Fun and full value, but not enough long sequences - just 2 moves to break repeatedly

Fun corner smearing, but it’s all jugs after which is a bit sad.

Might be a bit easier with my secret new beta of “jump to the jug to avoid the hard moves”. Said jug then pulling off the wall a couple minutes later was a little bit engaging though

Climbed as a giant pitch to exit the crag. Pitch 1 is classic slab climbing, Pitch 2 is snappy ironstone crimping. Quite the bipolar climb, then;

The approach was a lot of fun, very adventurous. The sudden exposure on pitch 1 caught me by surprise, despite the prior warnings. Glad Tom led because it's a bit run out in places.

This is one of those routes not to confuse easy grading with suitability for beginners. True old school run-out feel and crappy rock (although not as bad as Dream Machine in either aspect). Can protect the belayer with medium-large cams if worried about the drop-off behind

This route is good but also contains loads of loose rock and is quite runnout, even with a rack. You want to be solid at the grade and the gear worth bringing on this to place would be a 1, .5, .2 and/or a .1.
