Was going to use it to warm up and approach the boneyard, but in classic fashion we ended up spending way more time on the climb than expected, started freezing in the wind as soon as the sun ducked behind the cliff, then took the usual boneyard wall descent to get back down. Happy to just get this climb in though. The rock lends itself to very distinct features, with lots of sidepulls and underclings and decent enough feet with good friction.

First climb with the bro in over 3 years. Nice slabbing on the first, airy positions at the end of the second and totally awesome moves on the third. Great route. I would have used a yellow totem near the start of the third pitch if I had it.

Great new addition by Gerry. Tricky in a few spots, especially when getting to the anchors of the first pitch. I couldn't do much on the second pitch as many of the moves are quite reachy, but overall great climb.

The first pitch has some interesting and enjoyable climbing with a some tricky sections, especially to clip the chains. The second pitch has excellent technical climbing before the crux at the rooflet. Then enjoyable slab climbing to finish. note that this is a newly established route and may still have some loose rock on or slightly off route.

Awesome day out! 4 outstanding and varied pitches. Rapped from the top to the top of pitch 2 on a single 70m. Absolutely do not recommend doing this. Finished in the dark to make Ben's final Tassie climb a bit more special

Well that was a surprise. Two goes today, first go finally worked out short persons way to do crux, then dave dislodged the key hold on his attempt. Still hadn’t got through the low bulge clean. Second go I dynoed the low bulge then somehow kept going and found myself through crux without a lot of recollection of the top, but I had identified two good resting stances so gunned for them. Shame it’s going to rain for the rest of our time in Tasmania, didn’t think I had a lead shot in me today.

First attempt, would probably need a few sessions on it to get clean, learning to milk rests and remember all the moves. The best way I could see to do the crux off a bridge doesn’t work for me, as can’t reach the next holds so need to refine a reliable sequence.

A boulder problem that’s pretty good, and had me super spreadeagled. But the other 23 pitches at Fingal are much better. We just worked it from the ledge where it takes off from the 19.
