fell at the last move

The crux still eludes!

Hung around at the crux a bit long and missed the hold I needed. Compared to the other celestial wall pitches, i'd put this one at 23, last three bolts are pumpy and hard to read.

Pumped out and came off at the top just before a welcome rest :-( A fantastic lead though!

Ah was so close! Was spat off the final crimps. Ridiculously pumped on the last few moves. Similar style to the crux Rubicon pitch.

Beautiful airy climbing on great rock into the fun part of voyager. One small wasp that didn’t bother me.

70m rope was just perfect. Watch out for wasp nest immediately right of the first bolt.

Clipped the first bolt then felt a sting on a my neck before seeing the wasp nest right in my face. Went down pretty fast!

Ripper of a pitch, and probably one of my favourites on the Celestial Wall. Keeps you focussed the whole time.

Unfortunately had to second this - we didn’t realise it was 35m and had a 60m rope. Dropped it anyways. Was trying to go too direct at one point. Man it wanders a lot, but it really climbs well! That sting in the tail! Sure helps the route reading skills this one. Not sure if it’s just me, but I seem to climb too fast when seconding and get gassed quickly not taking in the rests. Lesson learnt. Amazing rock, amazing friction, cool moves. Get on it!

Brilliant climbing with a bit of overhang spice at the end. Very run out in places...

Bloody exhilarating pitch! Awesome thought-provoking sequences the entire way, and bolting that keeps you on your toes. Was super gassed climbing this with an extra rope trailing off me, and pinged off the slippery gaston underneath the rooflet after fluffing around for way too long.

oh boy it got me working haha note to myself, do not ever again bring a backpack on an overhang wall !!!

Tricky, exposed, scary but fun. Bailed though, wasn't feeling up to it

Sustained and brilliant and a little bit tricky. So much better than my last lame attempt.

There are a couple of bolts that needed to be placed lower, and IMHO this climb could have used 12 or 13 bolts instead of 11 to minimise runouts.

Really HOT day. Hundreds of horse flies. Found the clip above the mini ledge really committing. Pumped out at the third last clip. Took a few 3m falls, but couldn't finish it without dogging it (due to the heat). I'll be back! Found pitch 3 of Aphelion a tad easier.

Super long pitch, awesome. Could be 22?
