I don't think this is up to the standard of other routes at Buoux, neither in interest nor difficulty. The awkward exit didn't do much for me either.

First fall at Buoux! Feet slipped while resting on a jug, didn’t see that coming! Got karma for using a jug and not a pocket...

When you rest on a mono is when you know you are on a slab - very good! Guidebook says it’s a 6b+, not 6c

Accidentally ended up on the 7a next to this, but managed to traverse onto this from the 3rd bolt on the 7a (4th bolt on this), a few hard sequences, but more sustained than cruxy... keeps you guessing all the way to anchor.

Bwah, hard friction slab! By the skin of my teeth, but good in a sufferfest kinda way.

First go worked my way up on lead with rest past the technical crux but wasn't keen on the massive runouts through the top section so retreated. Top roped with one rest next shot. Utterly nails at the grade.

Wow... runout and genuinely dangerous, but brilliant climbing. Onsighted everything EXCEPT the slabby middle crux on polished, miniscule non-holds... I believe I could do this with another lap when its not in the full sun, but I just cant justify going through that first bone-breaker 1/3rd again.

Um... nails? Bouldery start, technical middle and hilariously runout final slab. I cant even fathom how hard this would be... nowra 23? Not a true flash as I slipped off a relatively easy move at the start, fell back to the ground. Then started again and sketched my way to the top.

This was 1993 and Dan and I watched a bunch of school kids running laps on this before we made an attempt and got our arse handed to us. Well it took us more effort than it took the 12 year olds ;-)

Good face routes and somewhat harder than their given grades.
