Very dubious gear, black alien + 0.3 camalot below the bulge, falling while leading could be bad, only go for it if you are sure. Loose rock on the arete.

This is more fun if you sit start the rail to move into it. Lots of PO this season!

Favorite boulder in the bay area.

A climb of different styles. A bouldery start followed by a mantle and finishing with a lie-back up the arete. Felt a bit tenuous the whole way.

Not as difficult or insecure as left arete of split 5.8 around the corner. Downgrade suggested.

Big milestone. First hard free solo/highball.

The traverse takes you up and down, it can get a bit pumpy so enjoy the rests.

Very fun line up the arete, great holds and easy to protect

I may have cheated by using a foot from the 5.7 next to it. This was lots of fun though!

I think this is a slightly tricky 5.8. The overhung crack crux is fun!

With more traffic to knock the loose rock off the black corner I think this could be two star.

Fun, powerful move. Sit start from the bottom of the rail feels like a v3.

Great climbing and unbeatable location. Coastal classic.

Pretty damn difficult for the grade. Harder than some 13+/14- climbs in the country. At least with the beta that I was using. Amazing climb none the less.

Hard

The real route is Holy Mackerel, this feels more like a variation. 12c/d depending on the level of humidity.

Took a couple falls, but I think I could get it clean with another go or two. Of course, I'll probably never get back there.

The description says "large pro", but I used 4 moderate nuts and a smallish cam on it -- nothing large at all.

Easy comfortable lead, and gear is fine.

After partner lead it, I followed to take another run at it. Was easier knowing the sequence, and where the holds were. Maybe actually is a 5.8.
