A cheap lesson in expecting the unexpected and soft eyes when upsetting a big wasp nest on route. Edge of your seat stuff but miraculously survived without a sting, a modern day Daniel in the lions' den.

Did come recommended, bit of a ramble but with a quality crux cactus and a suprise sleeping snake. Does get a hand in the guide but found it fine, the chimney is protectable using crack to the left. Thanks J!

Got a bit nostalgic with Mary on this route, maybe we were the first all female team to climb the route since the first ascentionists? Actually a Stella route! Had a bit of everything for the every day adventurer. A thrutchy chimney of dust and lychen that you can get sideways on, mantle onto the cactus, crawl through the mud, use the cactus spikes in your fingers to help climb the choss, pass the snake skin then scale the tree to top out at the Erg anchors. A wild time that every frog goer should have!

This was genuinely horrible. Filthy lichenous chimney start with a mantle out into prickly pear. Sandbagged moves up the next corner then avoid further cactus, deadwood and loose tombstones perched in the scree.

Handy tip #93: when grabbing a tree, make sure the bark isn't about to pull off.

Really bad climb, but it provides a great way to kill the person belaying! Lots of loose rock (some large)
