Seriously had to work for the 2nd day flash on this masterpiece of rock. Trad climbing doesn't get better. Steep, perfect rock, long, and I had to power scream on the last move because I didn't have good beta. Bloody fun day out.

Hard to understand how adding a 28 crux direct start to an established 28 means this is still 28 but I'll just tick it as hard for the grade. Warmup go I fell again after the last bolt and second go it went down.

The kachoong of the south esk, only not as good or easy or trad.

Committing climbing on great rock. First attempt but I spent a day cleaning the route about 2 months ago so blew the onsight and the flash with some community service. Really fun

Sweet moves and some very hard to use holds. Originally given 27. It feels harder than all of the 26s in the gorge.

20 in the old guidebook. I think thats fair. Slightly steep fist jamming into pure fingerlocks. A pretty good route which i am sure I've done before but didn't log. Lots of loose rock. Should have some of it trundled

Warmup to get the rope up. Felt better than expected

Discovered that on my onsight go a few weeks ago, I had done the crux. Felt beautiful and flowy, great day!

SO FUN!

Bolted yesterday afternoon, climbed this morning. Traverse moves are super unique and exciting and the arete just keeps giving to the top. Good fun! Plenty of bolts where you want them.

Cleaned and sent. Great varied movement in a cool position. The start roof moves are really quality. Hopefully I can work out the lower pitch which might need a bolt.

Good climbing and gear and has a bolted anchor. Nothing special.

Definitely recommended to rap inspect this one before getting on it. The RP and micro cam placements at the crux are blind and fiddly. The moves and rock quality are fantastic. Shame it gets a little close to Bautzen just to the right. Felt good the whole way!

Unbelievable it has taken this long for this route to be revealed. Took a substantial amount of ivy removal and earthworks to uncover but was absolutely worth it! Such an interesting line with imense variety, great gear, and the finish is fantastic. So impressed with Hannah's attitude towards this FA, she was super motivated and put in a lot of work to produce a modern classic of the gorge.

Awesome rock, huge jug pulling on steep and vertical terrain on a proud arete above deep water. Climbing doesn't get much better. I will definitely be back to do more laps on this.

Fell at the start after putting a .5 in the way of the good jam. Once that was out it felt fine. Easy to the top.

In the rain, What an adventure day. Required the boat to get across dry here too. Quite a rad crag

A project gift from Gerry who bolted and tried the route, but it wasn't his day. Bouldery and intense sequence with a little spice at the end.

Solo

Sent in full sun, definate ground fall if you came off clipping the 2nd bolt, which is a little scary considering there are no handholds. The rest of the bolting is good and nuts or small cams can be taken for the top if desired. A super quality and technical route.

24 off the tree, pulling on without it feels like 26. I felt like I could almost make upward progress without the tree. Could be easier if 6 foot 4 and taller

Some really great moves. Unfortunately I had a terrible headspace for the day but managed to get this second shot.

Bad beta but got the tick. Fixed the missing bolt and the loweroffs as well.

This was hard and scary. One of my first true adventure routes and the ground up onsight of a loose steep mossy hand crack with ledges and a pillar summit made it quite the experience. When almost too well.

A pleasant climb with steep judging and easy crack climbing.

A very classy climb. First attempt was a thuggy all guns blazing, no resting burn which didn't last long. But after some rest beta the tide turned and I scraped through. Stoked to finally tick a boneyard route hahaha

Fun all the way. Maybe easier than unrequited
