Aaah, the send went awesome today! Found a little sequence for the bottom that worked and left chalk trails to remember the good stuff. I love the hidden good grips and feet, the route allows for time to move your body around into better positions. Good news, there’s a yummy no-hands rest before the last crux. I had the last crux dialed to perfection and wasn’t pumped at the chains. What a lekker send 🕺🏽 This crag enjoys cold, cloudy days. It was freezing but the rock condition was perfect and frictionous.

What an awesome route! Cool grips and moves, good boulder problem at the beginning so climbed with 2nd draw clipped in for safety (for me crux is right before being clipped in where I fell a lot and too close to the ground). Seth’s beta helped me finally manage the crux, but I was too pooped during the send attempt. Wild runouts further up but good holds. Deserves another star ⭐️ Lovely walk in through the kloof.

What a setting.

Felt hard when working it last weekend in the sun. Boulder problem felt very marginal. Did all the moves but felt like it was going to be hard to string them all together. Today with cool temps I warmed up on the 20 and then cruised this first go. Felt pretty simple, I was kind of resting because I should but didn't really feel pumped or tired. Very smooth sailing. Feeling fit at the moment. Back at the car at 09h45, efficient morning driving in from CT. Climbed with Simon.
