Ascensões em Bulahdelah tendo Beta

Went bolt to bolt to work out sequence (would recommend to find the holds), then got it on my first go. Fun intro off the ground, then consistent crimpy face climbing to a mega jug rest. Take time to rest here for the pumpy traverse, can see how people drop it here. Probably my favourite on the wall so far.

First rainy day cave trip in ages and the last for a potentially a fair while. Pretty happy to put this old nemesis to bed after trying it every now and then over the last few years. Felt much more within my limit today. First go I didn't see a hold on my first go and could have probably done it then if I'd seen it. Got flustered on the second go and forgot beta on the easy part then finally a tired third shot saw it go down. Stoked.

Fun climb. Not particularly hard, just pumpy.

Fantastic route! Beta helps and very flowy. Big moves between decent holds.

Went up with the knowledge that the bolt was loose still got psyched out When I watched it move while I clipped!

Nowhere near close ahah. Cruxy from start to last bolt. Pretty much sat at every bolt.

Pretty solid climb. Will have to get stronger to get through the crux

First attempt on top rope. Sent on second attempt. Good variety of moves and holds.

Good mix of climbing style within the route. technical slab at the start, into the overhang section to finish on some small pockets to the anchors

Tricky start. Got pumped at the crux past the midway anchors, but somehow made it through.

Ok. Less drag than on 'Unknown 1'

Ok. Lose eye contact with belayer 1/3 into the climb. Lots of drag when you get towards the top.

My first climb in Beehive area. Managed to get 2 bee stings while halfway up the wall.

Getting used to the cave again, been 12 months!

The poopy traverse to the finish on poopy holds is birdshit. Nice climb up until that point.

One of the best 25 I’ve ticked to date.

To the final bolt.

Just the back half via alt start into cave and onwards. Did it clean to last bolt second go, but hadn’t refreshed memory as to the last moves on first go due to heinous rope drag so fell victim to the Booladelah factor. Nice to be back here, but the rock is so sharp!

Good climb, tricky start.

Gets easy from the second bolt. Thought it was pretty soft for the grade, but still fun climb.

Good warmup. Enjoyed it.

Very easy once you pass the 3rd clip.

Really good climb. The good flake on the right side between 3rd and 4th clip was snapped off. Still climbs well.

Working the sequence out, all the moves feel okay but linking it together feels a long way away. Sharp as hell

Reacquainting myself with the moves. Felt harder than I remembered but got all the moves done and managed to link from the toehook clip to the top twice on top rope. It's definitely doable, will see if there's and time left in the season to get back to it

Had done the right variant a while back so thought I'd give the left a go. A fair bit more on than I was expecting!

Oh yeah! years in the making this send. finally got the beta slick, now for the full Black Leg Miner.
