Amazing laybacking on a huge granite flake. Amazing that this doesn't feel polished even in the sun abd despite the masses of climbers attempting.

Stoked!! 7a os feels like holidays!! Chalk indicates two ways or a dead end on the left. I stayed on the right which looks like the logical line of features. Two crux moves. (1) right foot up and coordination to put up left foot while laybacking on open hold. (2) Can't remember but I screamed. Probably the gaston into incut chip from diagonal edge and standing up on friction. Lovely crag!

2nd go. The crux feels impossible at first. Went left, last good foothold for left foot and mantle on almost nothing. First half really cool slab climbing on good incut edges abd chips. 2nd half easier. #sportRP

Friction climbing with diagonal crimps. Really cool! New to granite and never climbed anything like it – so it felt like 6b+.
