Ascensões em Farm Rock tendo Beta

Just did the bottom pitch, as the top two were a bit easy.

I'd class this harder than a 5.9, although the lower half is 5.9ish... above the ledge, where it gets thin, is a solid stretch of what has got to be 5.10a or b. Small edges and big moves, w/ few rests. I bailed after taking a few swinging falls and having to haul myself back over to the route. Watch out for breaking rock: some of the small crimpy edges are quite friable, & can break underfoot.

For a 5.6 it has a few moves that make you think. The rock here is interesting, forces you to be creative.

Would make a nice if committing lead

Crux got me trying to go through the overhang. Looks like it goes at about 5.12

Finally got a chance to climb through the section of rock where I broke an ankle a few years ago. My brain wouldn't let me do the same move again, so I had to climb that little bit differently.

And while I've climbed easier 5.10s elsewhere, for Gatineau park, which has a tendency to stiff grades, I don't think it rates more than 5.9+. It is, for example, easier than "Little Yellow Fucker" (5.9) at "Home Cliff".)

Good climbing with a few committing moves on lead. Protection is generally quite good, though it takes a variety of types and sizes.

Got the red-point! This face is hard for me, broke an ankle on it a couple years previously.

After doing One Pine, this is the rappel down, and it looked fun to climb on TR, so we did.
