Cool moves, but very pumpy. Easier towards the end.

Very nice tour. The crux comes at the beginning. A good hand jam makes it easier, but also very painful. In the middle, we were surprised by a snake.

A powerful Route! The crux is between the 4 and 5 bolt! There is an painful sandclock for one or two fingers!

Crux is the second bolt before the anchor! Is one 7a move! Keep left at the Crux!

Nice technical route. You definitely need good footwork at the crux. It's not pumpy though.

One of the best routes I've climbed in Datca. Beautiful movements and endurance at the end. Had a long fall from the anchor, but despite the wide distance between the bolts, everything is safe

Crux between Bolt 4 and 5. ( in the Middle). Route is Great, but pumpy.

Amazing route, one of the best 7a I climbed in Datça! Bouldering move around bolt number 5 then beautiful moves in 6b+/6c level up to the anchor. After the first difficult part, it is more esthetic to stay left where are the bolts and not going in the right corner. A must do route!

Great line, more technical and less physical than the neighbors routes. The corner will train your legs flexibility. Crux at the end. Excellent bolting, need roughly 15 quickdraws.

Just L1: I found it dirty and feet holds crispy. Need more visits. A tufa was wet, same in 7a.

Looks much harder than 7b with very powerful moves. There is a bird nesting in the route in the final tufa. Not recommended to climb it now, we put some signs.

Amazing route with crux in the traverse above the fixed quickdraw (needed to clean the route). 18 quickdraws and 70m rope needed.

Beautiful route, very well bolted but 7b move looks quite compulsory in P2 (we used a light clip stick). P3 a bit too sharp for my fingers, I haven’t enjoyed it as much as P1 and P2. Rappelling with 80m rope is totally fine and safe. We started the route at 16.00 when sun disappeared and conditions were perfect. Needed nearly 3 hours to the top !

Very nice line, especially P2-4-5 with climbing on knobs (holds coming out of the rock). Excellent bolting. The overhanging start of 6b on small crimps looks to me harder than 6b (6c). But easy to aid climb if necessary. Way down to the ground well indicated with cairns. One easy downclimb in a corner on the left. Long paint recommended to protect your legs from the aggressive bushes.

Great route, very continuous. Start and middle crux not so easy to read, felt a bit harder than 6b

Beautiful balancy moves

Hard crux for 6b+, where you need to trust your right foot friction. But not scary at all, the bolting is excellent.

Powerful moves! Perhaps the soft 7c+ grading from 8a(.)nu would suit me better.

Certainly a classic if you like that style!

Bolt to bolt starting at the crux. 6a-ish climbing to get to the V6/7 crux boulder then maybe 7b/c climbing to chains after. Unfortunately today’s thunderstorms left the holds quite manky and even with the solid kneebars it felt pretty hard. 3rd day on, pooped. But last climb of the trip…worth it!

Someone on 8a.nu said this route is only 7c if you’re tall. I’m 193 cm and that is a load of BS. The boulder is still really hard and being tall makes it difficult to set feet.

One of the best in Datça. Incredible line. For those savvy in slab/lightweight and strong at technical climbing, this might feel easy for the grade or even soft. For my 89 kg fat ass it felt every bit of 7a+, given that slab makes me feel like a bear on a unicycle.

There’s one glue-in, I think maybe the 3rd bolt in the final brown headwall above the anchors of the surrounding routes that is somewhat annoying to clip as you traverse out right. There’s also a decently-committing runout to the anchors (thankfully with a no-hands just before) on the final overhanging jug section, which IMHO cements its status as a über-classic. The fall seems clean, but I don’t recommend looking down 😅

Some good luck with perfectly dry conditions gave me a 3rd-go send. This felt every bit of 7c until I put it all together with good condies and precision beta…then it felt 7b+. Maybe only 7b to the final bolt. Quite a bit easier than Nefs.

Don’t try this unless the wall is bone-dry with a breeze…or you’re just super strong and don’t care about slippery crux holds on wetter days.

My first go yesterday may have well of been a masterclass in misreading tufas: chuffing of absolutely epic proportions. Second go today was pretty low-effort with dialed beta…maybe even a tad soft for the grade.

Well that was lucky! 2nd go! Yee-haw 🤠

Didn’t have time to figure out the move from the hole to the left broken tufa, felt really hard for the grade and maybe need a right heel hook. The remainder of the climb is absolutely bomber on great holds with perfect kneebars. It’s not over till it’s over!

Decent warmup

Probably once of the best pitches of climbing I’ve done all year. Bummed I missed the onsight.

Had to take at the bulge to figure out the crux…got totally lost until I found the secret beta. All I can say is get ready for a sick, committing V3 sequence once you find the right holds (look closely!)

The runouts on this thing are no joke: a good 3-4 meters between bolts just below and above crux…all the way to chains. The falls are totally safe but man it would be a solid 10m whipper in a few spots. Hold onto ur butts!

Not a Kalymnos 7a…quite a bit more challenging mentally and physically than the other 7a to the right. You get jugs for about 25m but from the bulge it turns up quite a bit and despite the good active rest above the crux you still have to fight to get to the top. I thought it was benchmark hard 7a but my partner gave it 7a+ and he’s Czech: aka he normally downgrades things.

Barely above average at best. The climbing below the tufa is technical but not very fun, then the tufa climbing itself is somewhat interesting but nothing special, and the moves are a bit awkward.

Still a little chossy and it feels like some of the better holds will break off eventually. You have to try pretty hard not to use the left tufa system in a few spots. Feels like a weird eliminate. The 7a/+ to the left is literally 10x better. They got the quality ratings backwards here.
