攀登 in Far Crag having 攀爬攻略

Steep but juggy. A bit of dirt on it but surprised it doesn't get climbed more.

New shoes helped a lot on this.

We did the bottom of this route and traversed on top the better finish about 3/4 the way up

Hard Start

Scary rock near the top.

I thought the protection was fine, as far as Morialta goes

Gets extremely easier about 1/2 way up.

Nice climb, only two hard moves but nice flow

for a 21 I'm surprised it doesn't get much traffic! Loved it!

I thought this was a really lovely route. Tried to use as many fist jams as I could. I love fisting!

All the moves sorted. Started linking it today from the start. Fighting he pump up high will be the battle. Technical face climbing at its best!

Hard and dirty. A bit unclear about how far left it goes at the top. Fingers hurt from crimping

Good pro all the way. Spewing I forgot to pack my hexes, but substituted with double cams First couple of moves are made even more awkward by trying to place gear.

Huzzah! Strenuous placing gear at the start. A few dubious pieces (stacked/loose blocks.) Feels great to get this done, now I can go climb other things. Next time I'm at far crag I won't be climbing this - no Dur!

Was planning on sporting this but couldn't find where to place gear near the top. Super annoying.

Top rope lap to suss it out for a redpoint but my lap of Barad Dur had done its damage for the day

Started between the usual Illequipt route and A Quiet Chat for funsies, straight up to the large square block in the "traverse", fun.

3 clean laps, fell off on the 4th lap. 1st time I've climbed it more than once in a day. Now to check out the top out and the gear...

Climbed this once I was absolutely spent. An old favourite, I slipped at the start and had to chin-up off the block to get my feet back on. When I first climbed it, I did so very awkwardly but I had gotten more technical and pretty in recent ascents. With the fatigue, that all went out the window as I jammed, hauled and squeezed my way up.

Sore arms and a damaged left shoulder. Managed to make it up clean. Mantled on the block rather than using the side pulls.

Sore arms and a little bit damp. Couldn't quite muscle the crux at the first attempt, which is how I'd done it previously. But then worked out a really nice flagging layback to get up to the first decent hold in the hole.

Pain full start but nice finish

What a ride!

First time on it, I climbed the face between Joseph and the arete. Cleaned that, but it wasn't really the route. Had a couple more attempts, but couldn't quite stick those sloping side pulls at the crux.

Hard start even at grade 19. After that it's a bit mediocre compared to Barad Dur!

Arete climbing, lots of laybacking.

Jamming jamming jamming! Felt really hard but got there in the end.

First time climbing it, not a bad climb.

Still one of my favourite climbs

Pretty pumped straight after running up roadshow, and a long day of assisting beginners. Felt tough for a 15, but interesting enough.

Was unsatisfying, despite being right at my grade.
