Routes in Illawarra and Shoalhaven for selected grade

On ledge above start of Syko. Crack, then chimney.

A long adventurous pitch that allows access between the ground (Vegemite Wall) and The Penthouse.

From The Penthouse:

Rap 15m from the chains to the base of Stairway to Heaven. Traverse 40m to the south clipping the bolts every 5 or so meters. Belay from trees at the big dirty ledge at the end. Locate fixed lines on the south end of the ledge to descend to the ground.

From the ground/Vegemite Wall:

Up fixed lines onto big ledge. belay from trees as leader traverses back north finishing up the easy featured slab. Splitting this into two pitches is a good idea as falling on the slab (rock failure is very likely) would be very dangerous with 40m of rope out.

Would be a good wall climb if not for the big tree in the way. Sling the tree and climb the jugs on the left arete...or just climb the tree!

A piss easy chimney. It doesn't seem very popular! Up the chimney... Every man and his dog

A totally contrived route. Up slab left of PEC without using chimney.

Worthless. The chimney

A top rope can be run from either of first two the eastern rings. Scramble to ascend the crack or the slab.

Natural pro. Bridge up the corner crack. A ledge step left and up the wall to the top.

Natural protection. Worthless.

Up the middle of the gently angled slab.

3 RB's to DBB.

Why anyone would climb a rotten corner like this i don't know but i have, probably with a good helmet on. And yes we graded it 10.

Start: Two meters right of CL in rotten corner.

The classic route from the 70s. Put up by the pioneers of the area. Just because they don't have a line of stainless drilled up em doesn't mean they're not climbs!

Start: Obvious big black slab around the corner right of 'Snacky Cakes'

Clean hand crack on the east side of T Shirt 'Gully' - on the orange wall right of the huge jutting roof. Abseil to small ledge to avoid the sand at its base.

Straight up on the good jugs a few metres before the end of Ursies.
