Routes in Yosemite National Park for selected grade

The first pitch is ok with some finger cracks. The top pitches is the money with an amazing hand crack in a dihedral leading up to an easy o/w section - bring a C4 #4 to lower the spice, but you can do without. An easy albeit airy traverse is your finish.

One of the most historic routes on 'El Capitan'.

Pro to 4". Stem, jam, chimney, and mantel your way up this surprisingly steep pitch.

Pro to 3".

Obvious flake up to the ledge. To reach the top anchor, traverse right and follow 5.easy climbing around and then left to the 2-bolt anchor with rap rings. Remember to place gear to protect the second. Rappel descent to the top of West Slabs, then walk off. Pro to 3".

Start farther left.

Climb easy blocky terrain to a thin crack in a corner. Anchors left of the crack.

Climb is dirty and grassy -- but could be good if cleaned up.

Climb the obvious perfect hands crack on a face right of a corner. Crack narrows and splits, becoming more of a face climb near the end.

2 ASCA bolt anchor.

Mungy.

4th class approach. Descend via 100' rappel. Pro to 1".

Pro to 3".

1. 100' (5.7) Up the finger crack making your way up to the obvious hand crack. Gear belay (pro 1"-1.5"). A large flake takes a nice sling but puts you in a semi hanging belay.

2. 80' (5.8) Follow the awesome hand crack up to the dual crack system, move to the righthand system to finish out.

Pro to 4". 60m rap. This can be done as one long pitch.

Fist size flaring crack widens at about 80 ft to about body width ends with a squeeze under a block with anchors on top of the block.
